Thor's massive form circles Casper's dark brown wolf in the blood-soaked clearing, both of us snarling and snapping at each other's throats.

We crash together in an explosion of fangs and claws.

Thor's jaws clamp down on Casper's shoulder, canines sinking deep enough to scrape bone. The taste of blood floods my mouth, savage and satisfying. I shake my head violently, trying to tear through muscle and sinew.
