The emergency Council session convenes at dawn. None of us have slept. News of the blood moon birth spread across the supernatural community within hours. My phone hasn't stopped ringing.

I take my seat at the head of the Council table. Elijah sits to my right. Malcolm and Percival across from us. Moira's seat remains empty—Logan still serves as her proxy, but he's with his family right now. As he should be.
