Back to the present, I watch through the observation window as Moira York's body goes limp.

Her eyes roll back. The mate bond between her and the twin Alphas flares desperately as they pour strength into her, but it's not enough. Blood loss. Magical depletion. Physical exhaustion from birthing three prophesied children during a supernatural storm.

She's unconscious.
