When my dad came out, tears ran out of my eyes. It felt like I was in another reality. His presence meant so much to me.

Like a miracle he was there, in a sharp, tailored suit, healthier and more polished than I'd ever seen him.—not that he looked like he was extra rich— He looked like he was well off when in fact he was almost broke.
