Ambrose pulled away with a shaky exhale as he cupped both of my cheeks, staring into my eyes deeply.

Tears filled my eyes as he smiled at me. It was that kind of smile that made my heart swell with so much admiration for this man.

He was becoming the bane of my existence.

His thumb wiped away a lone tear that rolled down my cheek.

“Is this the part where you kick me out of your life?” I asked curiously, and he chuckled softly.
