My vision was getting weird, I was seeing everything clearly somehow. The colors were more prominent, the light was brighter and the smells were seeping up my nose and unmasking every single scent there was around us. Scents I hadn't ever smelled before were suddenly as obvious as the smell from the water and the damp grass.

Sam couldn't mind-link me so we wouldn't be able to communicate until we were both in our human form.
