We tracked through mud and dense forest letting a small lightning bug lead the way. The second I saw the blue glow flying around I knew it was a semiing us ineip.

Jax moved painfully but didn't stop. Riley walked beside him trying to help support his body weight. Fear was consuming me. Jax wasn't hit with a killing blow, but he was cursed. I knew I had a large hole slowly healing on my back too, but a wound was all it was. I felt no magic left behind in it.
