As I was standing there, fixed on this shining statue, Ethan managed to make his way over to me while his arm was across his face and his eyes were hidden in the crook of his elbow. He knocked the statue out of my hand, and as soon as it fell to the floor and made a loud clanging noise, the shining stopped.
