“I am sure you were an outstanding teacher, Anna, don’t you agree with me?” What was not to agree? Only that at this point in my life is hard to accept I once was a teacher. I remember I was also being brave. And suddenly I just know that I will find confidence in my voice. For me, brave means being afraid. And if I can combine fear with bravery, maybe I can crawl out of this hole that has swollen me since day one of my loss.
