This date was so different. Anna was so different, in a good way. Although she has a trauma that she will live with for the rest of her life, she always displayed optimism and a perspective on life that I have rarely encountered. It was difficult to live with what she was leaving, but if I have reached her life with a specific purpose and a mission to fulfill, then I will embrace that purpose and that mission and I will do my best to be there for her.
