"I just felt like it. It's been long since I baked a cake." He replies, dumping the bake pan into an oven.

"Should we make another?" He asks, and I nod thoughtfully.

"If you wish. I can help." I volunteer.

He sneers. "Of course, you will."

Soon we begin another round of mixing, whisking, and pouring. This is for a smaller portion of cake.

By the time we are done with the mixture, Gabriel checks the first one and sees it's almost ready.
