AYANA'S POV
Two hours in the nightclub were enough to make me feel better. This place has become an addiction for me, especially since there are a lot of men with noses that I can easily flirt with. I'm disgusted, but messing with them sometimes feels good too. Sometimes it is, but most of the time it's not.
Tonight I've only had three classes of alcohol, and my head already feels really heavy, and my vision is also blurry. I'm now sitting on one of the couches and closing my eyes. I'm so dizzy, I can't stand up.
"Ayana, I told you not to drink so much! Are you drunk now?"
Even though my eyes were closed and I wasn't sleeping, Cantika's shrill voice was already making my ears hurt. I grimaced and lifted my head.
"I'm not drunk," I said evasively. I really realized that I was drunk. I was just walking and swaying!
"You're so habitual, you say you're not drunk, but you end up like this," Cantika nagged me. I faintly saw Cantika, who was gyrating her waist in front of me.
"Have you finished relieving yourself?" I asked, changing the subject. I was too lazy to listen to Cantika's tirade. I already had a headache, and I wanted to faint if that happened.
"I didn't poop!" she argued. "You're already drunk, let's go home now."
I complied. Cantika was right, I was drunk, and now I wanted to sleep in my favorite bed. After that, I tried to get up, but the room felt like it was spinning, so my legs swayed. If Cantika hadn't been so quick to catch me, I might have fallen to the floor.
"You're a pain in the ass," Cantika grumbled.
I couldn't help but smile, my steps felt so heavy. And with every step, I felt like the earth was spinning fast. It's no wonder, I've been drunk like this so many times. Getting drunk is the best escape for me.
"You're really heavy! I might break my hand."
If I wasn't drunk at this moment, I would have hit Cantika. She was so noisy from earlier, nagging incoherently. I'm the one who recognizes that I can't walk on my own now and can only rely on Cantika. Even though she's loud, she's my only friend. I'm comfortable being close to her, even though she's sometimes annoying.
Are we home yet?" I asked softly.
"We're not even a quarter of the way there."
I just nodded without interest. "When we arrive, please wake me up."
"No!" she snapped. "I'm going to throw you into the river so you'll be washed away or not eaten by a crocodile. Let me know how you feel about making my life difficult."
I didn't care anymore about Cantika's nagging. I was so weak and wanted to go home as soon as possible. A few minutes later, I noticed that Cantika opened the car door and pushed my body inside. I couldn't grumble, and a second later I was smiling because I was comfortable in the car.

"Ayana, wake up! Can't you see that it's already what time?"
The one thing I hate more than the impromptu quizzes on class are times like this. My mom yells loudly as if I have a spare ear in case my ear bursts.
I ignored my mom, my eyes were still hard to open. It's already noon, and I'm still sleepy. There's no class today anyway, I'm free to sleep until whatever time I want.
"Ayana! Did you hear what I said?"
I'm not deaf! My ears are still functioning well, but I'm still very sleepy. My head is also dizzy. Why is my mom so inconsiderate of me?
I still don't want to care about my mom's nagging. Rolling over on my back, I grabbed a pillow to cover my entire face, especially the ears. With this, I really hope that my mom's voice is at least a little muffled. I'll be deaf for a long time if this is the story, right?
"Oh my gosh, this child is really sleeping. Ayana, wake up!"
I thought my mom would give up after I ignored her, but she still insisted. I was really annoyed. Who likes it when their deep sleep is disturbed like this?
"I'm still sleepy, mom," I replied in a hoarse voice. My eyes were still tightly closed, it was really hard to open them. I rolled to the side while hugging the bolster pillow.
"If you don't wake up, I'll have to pour cold water on you, will you?"
What kind of threat is that? I'm not going to be threatened like that. My mom must have seen a soap opera on television and wanted to threaten me with something similar.
One second...
Two seconds...
Three seconds...
There was absolutely no sign of my face being splashed with water. What did I say? There's no way my mom would do that.
"You're really unruly!" My mom nags again, this time pulling my hand. "Hurry up and get up, have you forgotten what today is?"
"I'm still sleepy," I replied, scratching my itchy cheek. "I'll wake up when I'm not sleepy."
"If you don't wake me up, it could be late afternoon!"
"That's good," I replied simply.
I heard my mom chuckle in annoyance, but I still didn't care. Leave it alone, she'll get tired herself. I guarantee it.
Two minutes later, there was still no sign of my mom screaming.
What did I say? I couldn't hear my mom's voice anymore. I rolled over to the right and lay down on the bed. Speaking of mom, I remembered what she said earlier. What happened today that woke me up? If I'm not mistaken, she said something like that.
Ah, but never mind, I won't care anymore. It's not like it's beneficial for me, is it? I can continue sleeping, if possible, until the afternoon so that I can stay up late at night and call my boyfriend.
"Can you see her? She's still sleeping at this hour. I woke her up, but she didn't wake up. Try to persuade her, who knows if it works? Soon you'll be husband and wife."
I moaned softly when my mom's words filled my ears again. Geez, I thought my mom would really leave me and let her beautiful daughter sleep as she wanted. But why did she come again?
Uh, wait a minute. I couldn't have heard it wrong, right? I thought for a moment and I gave up, my eyes were still closed, and occasionally I growled in annoyance because I didn't find a comfortable position.
"Okay. I'll try to wake her up."
"Then I'll go out first, okay? You have to succeed in waking Ayana up."
Why is there a male voice here? No, I know my boyfriend's voice very well, Adit doesn't have that kind of voice. There's no way it's my father's voice either, in fact, the odds are clearly wrong since he's already passed away.
But who? His voice is really heavy, and although I find it hard to admit this, the voice talking to my mom sounds... sexy.
Not wanting my curiosity to get the better of me, I squirmed hard. Stretching my muscles that felt stiff and crumbling.
Yawning widely, I forced myself to get up to sit, even though it felt really difficult. Rubbing my eyes and shifting the hair covering my face, I finally blinked my eyes repeatedly until my vision, which was originally blurry, slowly began to look clear.
A few seconds after that, I immediately felt so much regret. Why didn't I just pretend to be asleep instead of dealing with someone who was soon trying to ruin my life?
"What are you doing in my room?" For the first time, I spoke in a loud tone after waking up.
