Laura was in her room staring at the white ceiling with her arms around her chest. Was it worth it? She thought. She has lost her mom, her dad, her younger sister, and even some of her friends, was it worth the fight? Was it worth risking the lives of so many people? What if she hasn't agreed to join them? What if she hasn't gotten closer to the vampires? What if she never got to find out the truth, would it have changed anything?
