The way Nora treated Michael made him feel so embarrassed. He couldn't remember a time a lady treated him that way. He was at home with White, drinking. Michael had already had four bottles of vodka but still, yet, he refused to stop. White tried talking him out of it but every time he tried, Michael would lash out at him, so all White could do was sit there, watching him drink to his fill.
