Brantley kicked my ass with all the workouts he was putting me through. I couldn’t begin to understand why squats were important in training, but if he had me do one more, I was pretty sure my legs would fall off.

I stood in the shower for what seemed forever, allowing the hot water to run over my sore muscles. I couldn’t remember the last time a shower had felt so amazing, and then again, I couldn’t remember the last time I worked out.
