"Good morning," Mark whispered as his hands wrapped round Lily's waist. Chuckling, she melted into his warm embrace while flipping the pancakes.

"Good morning, feeling better?" She asked, and he hummed.

Lily flipped the pancake onto a plate and set it on the table, her eyes flickering toward Mark as he leaned against the kitchen table, his arms crossed as he watched her move around the stove.

“Here,” she said, sliding the plate toward him and joining him at the table. “Eat ...
