I stumbled back when she confirmed they were mine. I've been wanting to hear from her lips even though I already knew they were mine. I narrowed my gaze at her, and she didn't flinch. Love tilted her head in observation of me as I approached her. All the anger I felt earlier had gone now. 

I held her hand, wanting to say so much, but we were interrupted by her secretary.
