I glared at David, who averted his gaze and continued to drink his liquor. Everyone was celebrating the engagement but me. 

" I want to leave now," I demanded. David sucked in a breath. 

" I know you're mad about the surprise engagement," he said. He didn't fucking know just how upset I was. I was fucking pissed. I could hit him right now. I couldn't believe David did this to me. He tricked me!
