Chapter 33

Jim sat huddled against the rocks and tried to conserve warmth. He'd pulled his arms inside his coat and sat with his knees up against his chest away from the heat stealing rock. The snow helped, but it was still cold. He wasn't sure whether the cold, or loss of blood, was making him fade in and out.

One moment he was sitting in a bright white cave in the snow then next it was dark. Jim tried to move but it felt like he'd been trapped in glass. He couldn't move any part of his body. ...
