Alexei's POV

I leaned in to kiss her and the moment I got closer to her , I could feel a tension and excitement that I have never felt before. But before I could kiss her , Tatiana pulled back and took a few steps away from me.

“I think we should go back to the venue of the party , we have walked quite a distance” . She tells me with an awkward tone.

I looked at our surroundings and noticed that we had truly walked a long way from the venue . “Ok if that's what you want” . I replied with a smile but deep down I want to move closer to Tatiana and kiss her but I know that's not the best decision to make at the moment.

She just nodded her head and we turned back but our nose caught an amazing aroma of blini and pirozhki so I looked around trying to figure out where the aroma was coming from.

“Over there “ . Tatiana says as she points at a stall in front of us .

“Do you still want to go back to the venue or will you prefer to extend our walk to get street snacks “ I asked.

“I can't resist Russian snacks especially blini from a street vendor” . She replied without hesitation .

Tatiana and I, walked a bit before I brought out a conversation about the kiss . “Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable earlier” .

“alexei , I would really appreciate it if we forget about that . We did not kiss or anything so it's fine , I don't want to feel uncomfortable around you “ .

“Okay “

We got to the stall and Tatiana ordered blini with jam and hot chocolate , while I ordered pirozhki and black tea. “Would you be eating it here ?“ . The vendor asked .

“Uhmm , no we would take it with us “ Tatiana replied as she tried not looking into my eyes .

The vendor packaged it , I paid and we started going back to the venue . Tatiana brought out her phone and played a old song before taking a bite of her blini and smiled. She sang along to the song as she took every bite and sip .

I could not help but stare at this beautiful view beside me _her smile , her body , everything about her . “Table manners, Tatiana “ .

“Table manners? , well I can not see any table here besides street food and good music equals perfection “ she replied with the most gorgeous smile ever . She kept singing along to the song as she continued gobbling on her snacks.

We kept walking, eating and drinking when her phone rang, I could not see the caller id but she picked and her expression changes from playful to serious within the call . “ I went for a walk but I would be there soon “ she said before hanging up .

“We need to walk faster , Lev is waiting for me “ she told me before continuing eating.

It was when Lev called Tatiana that I remembered that my phone was on DND because I wanted to avoid Irina from bugging my phone with calls .

“But the party is not even over “ I replied shocked because I didn't expect our hangout to end so quickly.

“I guess he wants to leave early “ .

Few minutes later we arrived at the parking lot of the party venue and I noticed Lev standing in front of their black SUV ,looking really angry as he saw me and Tatiana walking towards the cars but Lev wasn't the only angry one . Irina was more furious and Immediately I realized that I had a lot of explanation to give to Irina .

“It was nice taking a walk with you” Tatiana told me before walking away while I walked to my BMW 7 series .

Tatiana's POV

When I got to the car , Lev grabbed my hands and dragged me into the passenger seat with him . I didn't try to break loose because I know he acted out of anger .

Alek got into the driver's seat while Boris sat in the front seat . Alek drove out of the parking lot and out of mosfilm district in a few minutes.

Alek and Boris are the sons of the chief of security to my family. My family sponsor the children of our trusted employee to any level of education they desire but it all comes with a twist, the children sponsored by my family has to work for my family after schooling .

Boris and alek are no exemption to this , that's why they are our bodyguards, friends and coursemates.

Lev started asking me questions like “why did I hang out with Alexei “ . I ignored him at first but Lev just don't know how to control his tongue.

“Wait so this is the reason you agreed to attend the party with us “ Lev asked while he stared at me like I had committed a crime .

“You are really crazy , I agreed to attend the party because of alexei . But you were the one who forced me to accompany you yet all you could do is accuse me “ I replied with a disappointed tone .

I wind down the car window for the cool breeze to calm me down but Lev would not just stop showing his stupidity. As each second passes the more he insulted me .

The moment I could not ignore his insults was when he said “I should have known you are a weak , and senseless girl the moment you hanged out with the enemy “ .

I was pissed and the cold breeze was not helping with my anger so I made sure I stayed in a balanced position before punching Lev in his face and eye . Alek brought the car to a halt before saying “what the fuck , are you two crazy” .

Boris came out of the car and sat with Lev in the passenger seat, to calm him down while Alek brought me out of the car and started scolding me . “Why did you hit your brother? “ He asked.

I was so surprised at his question because we were all in the car when Lev kept insulting and talking down at me but they all kept quiet. Before I could reply alek Lev came out of the car and slapped me.

Alek and Boris tried to stop the fight that was about to take place but I kicked Alek in his crotch area and jumped on lev's body . And just like that I kept punching his face until Boris dragged me off Lev .

Lev's face was swollen, his lips were busted . While I had wounds on my fist because Lev missed a punch and I ended up punching the rear view mirror, the mirror shattered and some glass cut me .

Blood kept dripping from my hands. Boris and alek kept trying to calm us down . After ten minutes of persuasion, I was finally calm and Lev seemed to be less angry than before.

“Can we all go back into the car “ Boris asked.

“I don't know about that because I am not riding with this asshole” I replied

“That makes the two of us” .

“Can you two stop , we have being on the same spot for twenty minutes now . If you want to fight, wait till we get home then you two can continue wrestling “ alek said trying to hide his anger .

I ignored them and walked into the front sit of the car while Alek entered the driver's seat. Boris and Lev sat in the passenger seat.

I was still a little bit pissed at Lev . He called me weak but I just beat him up and it's not like it's the first time. I and Lev are trained in martial arts but I am way better than him at it .

Throughout the ride home nobody uttered a word. Till we got home.

Alexei's POV

I got into the front seat, Irina and her ever loyal best friend _alina entered the passenger seat while a bodyguard drove the car .

I knew Irina would start blabbing so I picked my headset and placed it on my ears while I played a random song on my phone which is connected to the headset.

Listening to this random song reminded me of Tatiana, how she sang along to that song with the brightest smile. I kept reliving that moment, I was still caught up with thinking about Tatiana that I didn't realize that Irina was already nagging.

When she noticed that I was not listening to her , she dragged the headset before continuing with her nagging.

“Why did you hang out with that bitch “ she asked.

“I didn't hangout with any bitch , Irina I'm not ready for this “ I replied as I stared ahead without listening to her . Even as Irina kept spewing nonsense, Alina did not say a word. She knew better than to speak .

Few minutes later we got to my penthouse because I live in Moscow district . The penthouse that we live in with all the other buildings below belongs to me while Irina has her own in another area .

I did not wait for Alina and Irina, I just left them behind as I entered the penthouse. I proceeded to my room but Irina jumped in front of me . I was surprised because I left Irina and Alina in the car but now Irina is here with no sign of Alina and it seemed like Irina ran to meet up with me.

She catches her breath before saying , “I am sorry but I can't let this slide Alexei, I can watch you hang out with any bitch of your choice but not Tatiana. So you have to explain what happened” . She told me as she stared into my eyes.

“Irina don't piss me off , I said there is nothing between Tatiana and I “ I replied in a stern tone.

“Well then , I will like to see the look on your face when grandpa finds out you are hanging out with the enemy” . She replied looking obsessive like always.

Now I have to tell Irina about everything because she would find out eventually if she ends up telling grandpa.

“Fine , I will tell you but only on one condition. “

She stared blankly for a while before replying,”a condition?”

“Yes , a condition. You will not tell anyone about what I'm about to tell you including that loyal pet of yours “

“I promise, I won't tell a soul “ . I don't believe Irina but I just have to hope she keeps this a secret.

“Ok , so spill it “ . Immediately after Alina walked into the living room, she noticed we were having a serious conversation so she went straight to Irina's room .

“Before I tell you, go tell that pet of yours to remain in your room” .
