“Jason Henry…” Ramiris drawled like the syllables tasted sweet on his ancient tongue. “I’m surprised you’ve made it this far in a world that wasn’t originally yours.”

I scoffed and nearly dismissed him on the spot, sending him back into whatever abyssal corner he crawled out from.
