My eyes stared right into that of the omega who held a tray of tea in her hands and internally felt hurt at how the people of this pack who were supposed to only serve their luna who was me and me alone but now they were taking orders from Stacey, my mate's childhood friend who he treated with so much care and love that I his mate, his bonded and wife craved for every single day of my life but never received from him.

Yes we were married but my mate and husband couldn't be much more than those in name only which hurt me all the time until his Stacey came into the picture and everything turned much more bleak than it already was.

"Luna your tea" She had the guts to look unsure as she passed the tea to me and in anger, I rose up and threw it into her face, specifically where her lips was and during the little time it took her to gasp in shock, the tea flew into her mouth and down her throat and she gave a shriek as her eyes widened before she turned around and left the garden I was seated in previously.

I gave a sigh of relief before I went after her only to stop short when I found Stacey leading my mate down the path where the omega had fled through and I slowly followed after them, hoping to find out what she had planned this time.

They walked through two corridors towards the quarters of the omegas living in the pack house and my brows furrowed when they came to a stop at a door that some little sounds were coming from and my eyes widened when Stacey began to speak.

" Alpha inside this room is your mate and Luna, an omega informed me she saw her enter here with a servant boy" he uttered and I almost laughed when I finally began to understand her intentions.

"How could she be so shameless to do such nonsense, break down this door right now" I felt my heart splinter into two once again and fought to hold back the tears that had started to burn in my eyes when he uttered such nonsense from his lips, the mate bond flared with anger and I held myself from falling down my knees.

He was so quick to believe them, against his own mate and it hurt, of course he had always been this way ever since we met and got together but it always hurt all the time.

I watched them kick the door open and rushed in only to emerge a minute later with red faces and I smiled as I turned around and walked away.

I went down to the dinning room where I found former Alpha Kings seated there as the available omegas served us our dinner, his eyes twinkled as his found mine and he gave me a smile that I returned as I went to take a seat beside him.

"Pa, you finally came down" He glared at me at my words and I chuckled.

"Stop calling me pa, I am not that old little one' He cautioned with a smile and I nodded.

" I will try to but I'm not making any promises" I mumbled and he playfully glared at me before we began to eat and banter, like we always did and soon Kieran and Stacey came waltzing into the dinning room and pa took one look at them before releasing a grunt of displeasure and asking me to walk him to his room which I readily agreed to and we left them alone.

It hurt that he did not even glance at me as we left or even try to call us back at all.

Soon we got to his room upstairs and he gave me a kind smile before sending me back to my room. It took me a few minutes to get there and soon I was inside.

I wanted to go to bed when my eyes flitted over a bottle of strong champaign I had procured a while ago and I walked towards the cooling shelf it was at and took it down before going to the open balcony and taking a seat then I popped it open and began to drink from the bottle.

It did not take long for my not used to drinking self to get drunk and around this time, my door opened and I stood up and walked back into the room with staggering steps and a mushy brain.

I felt the matebond flare to life and my eyes widened deliriously at the thought of who was in my room at that moment; Kieran My Mate!

He surged forward and grabbed me into his arms as his lips descended on mine, his hands roamed my body as he claimed my lips hungrily.

He tore through my clothes as he took a nipple into his mouth and bit down as I moaned loudly.

He led me to my bed and laid me down gently, a contrast to how he was treating and playing with my body so beautifully.

The next morning, I woke up to a scream and all my body ached as though I had run a marathon, I felt a warm body beside mine and glanced at it only to find the red orbs of Kieran staring back at mine and this time, I screamed, loudly before scrambling off the bed and looking around in alarm.

"Think nothing of this, this never happened between us at all and if i hear this from anyone else's lips, you'll be sorry for yourself" He threatened as he stood up and walked away in his boxers and I drooled at his perfect body while my heart felt as though it had been broken countless times.

As I stood there with my heart in my throat and my soul bleeding, my door snapped open and in walked none other than Stacey.

"What do you even want this morning?" I ask tiredly, holding and blinking back the tears that had almost fallen mere seconds ago.

"I know you are his mate and Luna but Kieran is mine and you will do well to know your place here" She said with blazing eyes and I gently walked towards my closet where I pulled on a bathrobe there to cover my nakedness.

"If you are done you can leave, I believe you have made your point" I said as I walked over to the bathroom door and she followed, determination setting into her eyes.

"We kissed you know, countless times" I felt my heart prick at that as another set of tears came to my eyes but I pushed it back again.

"Do not delude yourself stacey, if you did kiss, I'd feel it and I have not" I subtly jabbed and she pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration at not provoking any reaction from me but she had no idea that her being in my room was really hurting me inside.

"I most certainly am not, have you seen your bond lately? It's deteriorating and soon it will go poof and you will also go poof with it too, enjoy your last days here LU-NA" She cackled as she turned to leave when I called out to her.

"It won't happen yet sweetie, you know someone made me feel so good last night and the bond is strengthened and is as good as new now so don't you worry your pretty little head about such things" She turned to me with murder in her eyes and at that time I swore I saw her eyes shine black, abnormal for a mere beta wolf.

"You are lying'

She turned back around and finally left my room and I heaved out a breath of relief when she was gone as my heart pounded wildly.

My phone rang loudly and I picked it up without checking the caller's name only for a scream to fill my ears and leave them ringing.

"I warned you to shut your mouth"

"And I never promised I would"

"You think this is up for a debate or an argument, it isn't. You either do what I tell you to or I'll make sure you regret it, understood?" I felt my whole body fill up with fear and I gave a reply of affirmation.

"I understand"

"Instead of gossiping around over such nonsense, why don't you do your Luna duties eeh? I heard you were lacking in that department, you shouldn't, it's supposed to be your job; do not make me give it to someone else better at it than you" And with that he disconnected the call and I heaved out the breath I had been holding.
