FOUR MONTHS FROM THEN

My eyes widened with shock at what I was hearing, I had been in shock for a whole five or was it three hours or less even.

First of all it was the sudden death of the former alpha, the man I took as a father to me was murdered. Then I was accused with some sort of evidence that seemingly had been found in a drawer in my room.

Okay let's rewind so you understand..

AN HOUR AGO

As I sat on my bed, running my palms over my unnoticeable baby bump, the door was pushed open and I glanced up to see my friend choe walk in with an uneasy smell and something about her smelled off but I chucked it to be that she might have gotten the scent from a guy she saw before coming to see me.

"hey girrl" She drew out as I took my hand off my tummy unnoticeably to smile at her, no one knew I was even pregnant and intended to keep that same way.

"Actually I just dropped by to check up on you and see how you were doing, I'll be leaving now though" I was surprised but did not let it show at all.

"Hope you're good? You can tell me anything you know" I said with clear concern in my voice and she winced a bit that I caught it but she smiled at me instead.

"I'm good, bye" And with that, she disappeared through the door and I sighed, I had planned to tell her today about my baby.

As soon as she had left, a few moments later, the door tore off its hinges and in walked a fuming Kieran who walked up to straight and grabbed me, throwing me off the bed with rage and I yelped while blocking my tummy from hitting the ground.

"What's going on here?" I asked as I stood up slowly and his reddened eyes turned to me just at the same time Stacey came in and went to stand by his side.

"You have been accused of the murder of the late alpha" She told me and I felt my whole system shut down as shock filled my whole body.

"You are trying to say the former alpha is dead?" I ask with a barely audible voice.

"Oh don't even begin to pretend to be surprised, you killed him and we have evidence and an eye witness" I snapped out of my haze and gave her a mean stare for the first time in my entire life.

"What do you mean I killed him and that you have evidence and an eye witness, call them out to tell me when and where they saw me kill the former alpha whom I took as my father" I burst out and she stared at me with shock before it hazed over as she sent a mind link and soon a knock came by the side of my door and I turned around to stare at the so called eyewitness who had the guts to call me a murderer.

My eyes widened as I watched none other than Chloe walk into the room looking guilty and I staggered back as shock filled me once again.

"Chloe?" I asked with a small voice but she didn't glance at me and walked down to Stacey's side and stood before her.

"Say it as you saw it happen and don't even think of lying at all" Stacey said with a stern face and I snapped out of it to stare at Chloe expectantly.

She would tell them I did not have a hand in this nonsense I was being accused of and clear my name of this......

"I was going up the stairs early this morning to see the luna today when I saw her walking down the hall towards the rooms of the alphas, I was confused but resolved to follow her and as soon as she got there, she entered using a spare key and when I peeped in through the door and saw her slit his throat with a dagger in his sleep, he was defenceless" She explained before taking in a deep breath and finally glancing up to me.

I felt my heart splinter in two as I staggered back with shock.

All this went on with Kieran standing there, fuming as it went on.

"We also have evidence if you do not believe her words" Stacey said again before glaring at chloe who walked up to my drawer and pulled the top one out and there, lying there, was a dagger filled with fresh blood and as soon as the scent wafted into my nose, my whole body trembled.

My whole body went rigid as I had a sudden flashback.

FLASHBACK

BACK TO PRESENT

The whole foul scent coming from her when she came to see me some time ago was this bloodied dagger and her whole behaviour hinted at something and it was at this same moment that I knew she was planting the evidence here.

"How could you do this to me chloe?" I yelled with tears falling down my eyes at Chloe whose whole shoulders shook as though she was holding herself back.

“I'm sorry but it's the truth, just say the truth Tiffany” She cried out and I stumbled back as pain rippled through me at her betrayal.

“I didn't do it, why should I take the blame for being accused of killing, murdering my own father in his sleep?” I screamed, trying to make them see sense as tears rolled down my eyes.

“Stop being a selfish bitch and accept your crime, it's out already, stop denying what you did, I saw you do it” She yelled out with anger in her voice and Stacey laughed hard.

“We have evidence and an eye witness, a friend of yours who couldn't keep quiet when she saw evil, stop-”

“Stop making things up, Kieran you have to believe me”He glanced away from my eyes before a sort of resolution and hardness settled into his orbs and he turned back to face me.

"Luna Tiffany Kings, you have been accused and found guilty of the murder of the late former alpha, my father and you still plead not guilty" He pinched the bridge of his nose as if in frustration at my refusal to admit to killing his father, my father and alpha and the bond flared painfully.

"You will be demoted to an omega and sent to the dungeons for the next one week then out of the pack as a whole to live out the rest of your days in exilement as a rogue, take her away now" I was quickly grabbed by two burly guards and dragged away roughly as I felt my whole life crumble and shatter around me.

How would my baby survive in the dungeons or as a rogue, this was not the life I planned for them at all.

My whole body vibrated with a searing pain that disappeared after a short while as tears fell down my eyes like rain.

But betrayal split my heart open and left it bleeding like that without sealing it close.
