Later, Stepping into her childhood room after years, Sarah felt time fold in on itself. It was the same, yet different. The walls, once plain, were now painted with green leaves. The framed pictures of snowy landscapes still hung in their places. Her small bookshelf remained untouched, the lamp on her bedside table casting a familiar glow. It was clean, cozy—welcoming.
