My eyes were wide with shock and the tears that slowly poured out of it blurred my vision. What made it worse was the immense amount of embarrassment I felt as soon as I saw that Brent had appeared on stage, holding the microphone tightly in his hands.

His eyes darted towards me momentarily before he tore them away and turned back to look at the judges.

"Look, there's been a mistake." He said over the microphone.

"I'm sorry sir, but I'm not sure you're meant to be here right ...
