Writer's pov

　　Since the meeting with Alpha Baron, Alpha Darrel has been very different from his usual self. He was preparing for the wedding and at the same time worried about how things would go. Everyone in the pack was aware of the date the wedding will be held. Alpha Darrel knew it was very wrong for him to lie but he had no other choice, good thing his lie has turned into reality.

　　"Darrel." Luna Becky called him as she walked into the house. Alpha Darrel was sitting in the sitting room still trying to get a lot off his mind when he heard his mom call him.

　　"When will you decide to call me by my title?" Alpha Darrel asked his mom because she kept calling him by his name without adding the Alpha to it.

　　"You were my son before you got the title, I don't think it's wrong to call you by your name." She said to him and sat on the couch with him. Alpha Darrel went back to what he was reading without paying much attention to what his mom just said to him.

　　"How are you feeling now?" Luna Becky asked while looking at his face. Alpha Darrel sighed when he heard the question his mom asked.

　　"I think I'm better now. The whole thing is just really overwhelming. You know the sudden news about getting married and I'm dying of curiosity to know who the girl is, I mean she was adopted you never know she might…" Luna Becky started laughing when she heard the last statement Darrel made.

　　"Darrel, I cannot believe you are thinking this way. You need to calm down, she's going to be all yours very soon, you don't have to be too curious." Luna Becky said to him trying to stop him from thinking too much about it.

　　There are other things going on In the pack, in the company too that Alpha Darrel can easily distract himself with, rather than struggling to think about what the lady he is getting married to would look like.

　　"Alice." Luna Becky called out and Miss Alice rushed towards her direction immediately.

　　"Follow me, we have something important to talk about." Luna Becky said to Alice as they both walked upstairs. She was wondering what the occasion was about and why Luna Becky told her to follow her to the room.

　　When they got to the room, Luna Becky fell tiredly on the bed, leaving Alice standing at the entrance of the locked room. Miss Alice has lived with them for a long time so she's aware of Luna Becky's temper, she might lose it if she takes some steps forward, and she might also get pissed if she remains where she was standing.

　　Miss Alice thought the only way was to start cleaning the little dirt in the room so she could have an excuse.

　　"I didn't call you here to clean my room, seat there." Luna Becky said to Miss Alice and walked into the bathroom. Miss Alice was confused because she thought it was very unlike Luna Becky to be this nice to her. Miss Alice sat down and patiently waited to hear what Luna Becky had to say to her.

　　When Luna Becky was done with her bath she walked out of the bathroom and changed her dress. When she was done she walked to the couch abs sat down. Miss Alice was nervous, she was wondering what it is that Luna Becky wants to say to her.

　　"I have something important to talk to you about," Luna Becky said to Miss Alice. Miss Alice nodded her head while waiting to hear what it was.

　　"Alpha Darrel will be returning to the pack with his wife very soon." It is a news that has been spreading around the pack so Miss Alice was not surprised to hear it. "You know her status, and the kind of family she's coming from, even though she was adopted, Alpha Baron thinks highly of her so we cannot afford to treat her badly here." Luna Becky explained to Miss Alice.

　　Miss Alice nodded her head in agreement to everything Luna Becky was saying to her. She was wondering why Luna Becky was telling her all these because she is aware of the wedding.

　　"There are some things I want you to arrange. Lilian would be serving her." Miss Alice was surprised to hear what Luna Becky said because why did she specify Lilian's name. She was wondering why she wanted Lilian to serve Alpha Darrel's wife. Though she had nothing to say but to agree with what Luna Becky wants.

　　Luna Becky pointed out a lot of things that would be needed and they want to welcome the new Luna in a very warm way so that she will feel loved by the family. After the little meeting they had Luna Becky released Miss Alice to go back to her daily duties.

　　The moment Miss Alice walked out of the room, Luna Becky poured herself a glass of wine. Everything was going the way she wanted it to go, now she has her son getting married to the family she has always wanted to be part of and he is slowly climbing higher in the Alpha status ranking.

　　Her dreams were turning to reality ahd she couldn't hide the excitement, by next week her son would be getting married to Alpha Baron daughter. "I always win." She muttered excitedly and gulped the glass of wine.

　　Lilian has been moody since she heard the news of his marriage, she thought of quitting her duty in the pack house but that's almost impossible for her to do, where would she go? Who would she stay with?

　　She decided to control her emotions and somehow work towards giving up on Alpha Darrell. She has loved him since she was younger, which is why she was jealous of Edna when they were very close, she thought Edna would have a bigger chance of getting married to Alpha Darrel.

　　"Lilian." Miss Alice called her name and she immediately snapped out of her thought ahd jumped up from where she was seated.

　　"What are you doing here when you're supposed to be busy in the guest rooms?" Miss Alice asked her. Lilian was mentally exhausted so she didn't have the strength to exchange words with Miss Alice.

　　"I was here waiting for Lisa and Diana to be done with their duty then we'll all go work in the guest rooms." Her reply was convincing enough so Miss Alice did not drag the topic further.

　　"Okay, when you are done I have something to tell you, there's no point waiting let me tell you now." Miss Alica said to Lilian. Lilian was curious to know what Miss Alice wanted to say to her, she stared at Miss Alice waiting to hear what she has to say.

　　"Luna Becky has assigned you to serve Alpha Darrel's wife." Lilian was not pleased to hear what Miss Alice said and she couldn't hide it, she knew Luna Becky had something against her but she never expected her to assign such a duty to her.

　　"I am to serve the new Luna?" Lilian Asher again to confirm if she heard her clearly. Miss Alice was wondering why Lilian was not happy with the news because it was a good posting compared to what she was doing.

　　"Why do you look unhappy, you just got promoted Lilian." Miss Alice said to her. Lilian realized she was making it obvious that she wasn't happy so she decided to fake a smile.

　　"I am happy, it just came as a shock to me that's why I wasn't smiling," Lilian said to Miss Alice with a fake smile on her face. Miss Alice was not convinced that Lilian was happy with the position because she knows when Lilian is happy about something but right now she could tell Lilian was not happy.

　　"You personal struggles are none of my business, you have to serve Luna well and make sure she doesn't complain about anything at least for the early days of her stay here." Miss Alice explained to Lilian. Lilian nodded her head in agreement to everything that Miss Alice said to her.

　　After explaining everything Miss Alice walked away and left Lilian in the veranda thinking about what she just said to her. Lilian was finding it hard to accept that she will be serving Luna when she is also in love with the Alpha.

　　It's enough that her dream of becoming Luna has crumbled now she has to serve her?

　　"I don't think I can do this anymore." Lilian mumbled and walked away from the veranda.
