Edna pov

　　While we were on the dinning till we finished eating I kept remembering what Alpha Darrel said on the dinning, how could he say something like that in the presence of his mother who clearly doesn't like me, Edna knew she was only trying to taunt them which Alpha Darrel was also aware of.

　　I was done eating so I stood up from the dinning and headed into my room. The moment I got to the room I fell tiredly on the bed and sighed. I could recollect his facial expression when he was talking to his mom over dinner. He looked very serious, I couldn't tell if he was only saying that to annoy Luna Becky.

　　The moment he walked into the room I rushed I thought of the toilet. I really don't know how to face him after what he said in the dining room, though we've had sex I still feel shy around him.

　　I stayed in the toilet for a while until I summoned the courage to step out and face him, the moment I walked out of the toilet Alpha Darrel turned to look at me.

　　"Were you serious about what you said at the dinning?" Alpha Darrel turned to look at me when he heard the question I asked. After staring at me for a while a smile escaped his lips. He looked like he was about to make me even more uncomfortable.

　　"What do you think?" He asked me with a mischievous smile on his face, I could already tell what he was trying to do when I saw him smiling,

　　"I know you were not serious." I said to him and stood up from the bed to get something.

　　"I never said I wasn't, besides we're married. It's not a crime if we try making kids." I turned to look at him angrily. I can't believe he was taking his mother's words seriously.

　　"What are you trying to say?" I asked him angrily, and walked back to the bed, Alpha Darrel did not say anything he just kept staring at me in the eyes.

　　"I'm trying to say it's not a bad idea to have babies." He replied to me sounding very serious this time, I wrapped my hands around my body trying to stop him from thinking stupidly.

　　"Why would you say such a thing? Did I tell you I want kids?" I asked him while still wrapping my hands around my body. Alpha Darrel laughed and headed out of the room, I was relieved when he walked out of the room. Hopefully he decides not to spend the night with me.

　　I arranged the bed properly and I laid down. The moment I laid down Aloha Darrel walked into the room, I closed my eyes immediately pretending to be asleep already. He sat on the bed without saying anything,

　　After waiting for a while he was still seated on the bed with the light turned off, I raised my head to look at him and noticed he was worried about something, I didn't know if asking him was a good idea so I was conflicted between asking him and minding my business. He picked his phone from the bed and placed a call across to someone.

　　"Hey." Alpha Darrel said the moment the person picked the call. "How did it go?" He asked. I was curious to know what the call was about because he looked very worried.

　　"So what do you think we should do now that the French investors are backing out?" Finally I could tell where the worry was coming from. If it's about the company then the person on the call with him has to be Albert.

　　"The company is going to face a serious problem," Alpha Darrel concluded and ended the call. I closed my eyes with the hope of asking Albert about it during the day when he gets here.

　　After the call Alpha Darrel decided to go to bed without waiting up again.

　　The next morning . I woke up feeling better than yesterday. I had a lot of goodbyes to say yesterday which made me very emotional, I picked up my phone and saw a text from Amber.

　　I let out a soft smile, I'm so happy for her because she really needed the change of environment.

　　I stood up from the bed and Alpha Darrel was already out of the room. "Where could he be?" I asked myself when I looked around and he was nowhere around.

　　I headed to the toilet and washed my face before walking out abs sat on the bed. The thought of stepping out of the room had somehow meet with Luna Becky suddenly crossed my mind and made me uninterested in going out of the room. I heaved a sigh and finally decided to summon the courage and step out of the room.

　　While I was walking down the stairs I could hear laughter from the sitting room so I thought she had her friends come over. When I got closer to the sitting room I was shocked to see that the person she was laughing so loudly with was Lilian. Since Lilian returned she's been very different and very close to Luna Becky, it's more like Luna Becky begged her to return,

　　I felt a little sad because in the one that's supposed to be in such a situation with Alpha Darrel's mother. If she needed a friend she could have told me rather than making herself close to Lilian.

　　I walked to the kitchen and picked a bottle of water.

　　"Looks like you've completely lost your manners," Luna Becky said to me when I was about heading back to my room. I turned back to look at her when I heard what she said. I just knew I had to control my anger and not make her get me like she wants.

　　I turned to look at her abs beside her was Lilian.

　　"I just didn't want to interrupt your conversation with your friend." I said to her calmly. Luna Becky looked pissed to hear what I said.

　　"How dare you call a mere maid my friend?" I let out a soft smile when I got exactly what I wanted to hear, I stared at Lilian and we looked at each other for a while before I walked away. I know they have a lot to settle so I would rather just leave them.

　　While I was walking upstairs I could already hear Luna Becky saying things that would make Lilian feel better, I couldn't care less because I got what I wanted in the end.

　　When I got back to the room I closed the door and sat down tiredly, there's always a reason to hate on me everyday. Looks like she doesn't get tired of hating me.

　　It has been like this since I was working her as a maid so it's not a new thing to me but I thought after my status changed and a new family has made me theirs her character will change, but it somehow got worse, I don't know how else to maid her stop hating me and see me as a someone married to her son. Now she has brought Lilian to cause a little problem between Alpha Darrel and I.

　　"She really never gets tired." I muttered and laid back on the bed. The house was so boring and I was not interested in breakfast because I knew Luna, Becky and Lilian would be there with me.

　　I felt really hungry but I controlled myself from stepping out of the room and joining them for dinner. I know they won't be home for too long. Luna Becky loves to shop so she's definitely stepping out today. I had to endure it for a while, I stood up and peeped through the window and her car was still there, just as I was about to give up I watched her enter the car with Lilian.

　　"She's really taking her along?" I asked myself, still finding it hard to believe that Luna Becky trusts Lilian to such an extent now after what she did.

　　I stepped out of the room and rushed downstairs. When I got to the dinning area everything was already cleared out, I can't believe she doesn't care about me at all. I ordered the chef to make me something immediately while I checked the fridge if there's something to eat before my food is ready.

　　I saw a plate of ice cream in the fridge and decided to start with that until my breakfast was ready. While I was eating the ice cream I couldn't get over what just happened and how the dinning was cleared of what I got here, they clearly knew what they were doing when there was nothing left on the dinning.

　　After a few minutes my food was ready. It looked so good and the aroma got me more excited to start eating. This is why I suggested that I start working because it's really hard to always be at home.

　　I started eating and while I was eating I heard the doorbell ring. At first I wanted to stop eating but I decided not to when I thought of how stupid it'll look.

　　When the door was opened Albert walked into the house, I was wondering why he came over when Alpha Darrel was not around, did he forget something?

　　I stood up from the dinning and walked up to him. "Good day Luna." He greeted me with a soft smile on his face. Albert and I have barely had conversations even when I used to work in the pack house.

　　"How may I help you?" I asked him and he stood there quiet for a moment.
