Writer's pov
"Your mother was a dirty tramp trying to get herself out of the mess her father created just sleeping with the Alpha but guess what she couldn't get what she wanted till the day she died." Edna's eyes were teary, she really wanted Luna Becky to steal saying such horrible things about her mother.
"My mother was never that kind of person. You seem to forget that you were also In that position at some point in your life." Edna replied and Luna Becky got very upset.
"You seem to forget where you came from and how you struggled to find your way into Alpha Life." Edna said to Luna Becky. Luna Becky was already having an earful of so many truths and she couldn't stand it anymore.
"Edna!" Luna Becky yelled her name angrily. Her eyes were fiery and cold. She looked like she was going to hurt Edna at this point.
"Now you see how it feels like to be talked down on. This is the exact way you make my mom Feel everyday in her grave." Edna said to Luna Becky had angrily spilled the cup of coffee on Edna.
Edna clenched her teeth and brought out a tissue to help herself clean the coffee on her face but the one in her dress was more difficult to get rid of.
Just when they were done. Alpha Darrel writhed into the office, he heard when some staff talked about his mother In the company. He knew the exact place she would be when she didn't come to him at all. He rushed over to Edna's office and by the time he got there. Edna was struggling to get the coffee spill out of her dress. He realized a lot must have happened before he got there.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" When did you start visiting without coming to see me first?" Alpha Darrel asked his mom, sounding very angry. Luna Becky turned to look at her son and she stopped herself from slapping him because at this point that was what she thought he deserved for making such a statement.
"Can't you see I'm already pissed? Don't make it worse for me." She said to him and folded her hands across her chest staring at Edna.
"I will make sure you regret coming here in the first place." Luna Becky said to Edna and Edna scoffed.
"What was that for?" Luna Becky asked. She was just about to leave but ste didn't leave anymore instead she went back to continue from where she stopped.
"Mom can you stop!" Alpha Darrel yelled angrily When he noticed she was about to start acting aggressive.
"There are cameras everywhere so please stop." She raised her head and saw the camera positioned clearly where she was. She stood properly and glared at Edna before walking out of the office. Edna was still unable to get over the embarrassment. She started thinking when it's all going to end and Luna Becky would finally treat her like her own daughter. She has always hated her and even now that her status has changed she still sees her like trash.
Tears welled down Edna's eyes because of the way Luna Becky talked down on her mother, she couldn't believe her ears. Luna Becky kept saying only horrible things about her mother, she has never had anything good to say about her.
"Mother never slept with the Alpha, why does she hate her so much?" Edna asked herself and wife's her tears when she noticed someone was walking towards the office.
She rolled the chair backing the entrance. "Drop the file and leave." Edna said to the person but she noticed the person was not going away so she turned to see who it was.
The both of them stared at each other for a while and he could tell she was sad, her eyes were very tired and obviously she cried.
"What are you doing here? Are you not supposed to be with your mother?" Edna asked, pretending to be fine. She turned on her system and tried to confine from where she stopped but her kind was so messed up that she couldn't recollect where she stopped again.
Alpha Darrel held her hand stopping her from trying to distract herself. "Edna stop." He said to her holding her hand. Edna raised her head to look at him and tears welled down her eyes again, she was slowly losing control of her emotions.
"You don't have to be a strong girl. Cry out if you want to cry." Alpha Darrel said to her and without hesitating Edna started crying. Alpha Darrel knew for a fact that she was trying to bottle her emotions well but sometimes it's better to let it out than bottling it.
Alpha Darrel handed the tissue to her and she wiped her tears with it and disposed of it. "I can't believe I'm doing this right now, when I have so much work to do, it's not like it's the first time she's saying all those words to me." Edna muttered while laughing sadly.
Alpha Darrel looked at her Dave very well and he could tell she was very sad, he couldn't think of the best way to brighten her mood.
He stared at her dress and he cowardly knew she wouldn't be able to step out of the office with the dress coffee spilled on.
He thought the first thing he should start from was changing her dress, so he stood up for her office and walked away. While walking to his office he called Petra to his office.
"I'm trying to get her a new dress but I don't know what she would like, you worked as her maid, I need you to get her a dress she would like before the work closes." Alpha Darrel said to Petra. Petra was more than happy to be given the task because she knows very well what kind of dress Edna likes to wear.
Petra stepped out of the office and headed to the boutique where she can get the dress from. While she was on her way there she couldn't stop smiling. She's been rooting for both of them and finally they are living like real married couples should, and now he's showing concern about her unlike how he used to behave.

Edna was back to her work and she decided not to let what Luna Becky did distract her and make her feel bad for the rest of the day. It's her first day at work and she needs the day to be a memorable one. Luna Becky just helped her make the work easier.
She decided to move on from that and act like nothing happened today.
While she was busy trying to concentrate on work she heard her phone ring, she was about to ignore the call when she checked and saw that the person calling was her sweet little sister.
Without hesitating Edna picked the call with a bright smile on her face.
"To what do I owe this precious call?" Edna said to Amber with a smile on her face.
"You never bother to call so I decided to be the bigger person," I felt attacked by her words, I know what she was trying to say to me.
"Hmm, I take my fault, I'm not a good sister." Edna said to her sister trying to make her feel better.
"Now you're trying to name me the mean little sister." Amber said to her , sounding angry. Edna smiled and they co tinier talking. Amber had a lot of stories to tell Edna about her new environment and her cousin brother who is about the same age as her. She said everyone takes good care of her because of the way her brother is loved by the girls in the school, he is called the ‘pretty boy' by the girls in their class and because she's his sister they are all interested in being her friends.
Edna had a good time listening to her and the stories of the young girls staying around her because of her brother.
"Thought you all are just below ten?" Edna asked, still finding it hard to believe that young children now crush on their classmates.
"Do you find yourself attracted to any of the students in your class?" Edna asked Amber curiously.
"They are all not up to my standard." Edna was not so happy with the reply Amber gave her. As much as Amber was raised to be kind to people and not look down on anyone she still has her flaws of talking down on people with the thought that they are not up to her standard.
"Amber. What makes you think they are not up to your standard? Have you forgotten what dad taught you?" Edna asked her, trying to make her come back to her senses.
"Edna, I am a princess I know those I can be interested in, and this is not me looking down on anyone." Edna let out a soft smile When she heard what Amber said.
Edna finally understood what Amber meant when she said they were not up to her standard. Though she thought it was not the right way to put the word.
Edna had to go back to work and Albert needed to start her night lesson. They both said their goodbyes and ended the call.
"She's such a sweet girl. I know she's not finding it very easy there." Edna muttered the moment she dropped the phone.
