Alpha Darrel pov

　　I looked around for Edna but she was nowhere to be found, I can't believe she's missing on this type of day. Everyone is here already and she's still nowhere around the house.

　　I walked back to the room to check if she was there and she really wasn't there.

　　"Where the hell is she?" I asked myself. The whole family was already here, even her father is on his way here already, what do I tell him when he gets here.

　　"Edna please pick up your phone." I muttered while checking around for her. I sighted Lilian arranging the tables where the guests will seat, I know we've not been in good terms but I had to swallow my pride and ask her if she's seen Edna around the house,

　　"Lilian, do you know where Edna would be? I have looked everywhere for her and she's still nowhere to be found." I said to her and immediately Lilian stopped what she was doing and walked closer to me the moment she heard what I said.

　　"I haven't seen her all day, maybe she thought the stress would be too much being Luna Becky's birthday, she decided to go somewhere and rest." Lilian said to me. I couldn't help but believe her when I heard what she said because where could she have gone to on such an important day.

　　"Darrel, what are you doing here?" Mom asked me when she sighted me talking to Lilian. I walked closer to her looking really worried.

　　"Mom Edna is nowhere to be found," I said to her. Mom didn't look shocked to hear what I said to her, she looked like she knew where Edna had gone to. "Mom!" I yelled angrily at the top of my voice she I saw the guilty look on her face. She really knew where Edna was.

　　"What? Why are you shouting as if I committed a big offense? I only sent her on an errand and she's yet to return." I couldn't trust my mom because I could tell very well when she's lying and when she's telling the truth and from her facial expression she wasn't telling the complete truth.

　　"Where did you send her to? And what time did she leave the pack?" I asked curiously with a frown on my face. Mom stared at face without saying anything, I could already tell that she was not telling the complete truth.

　　"Darrel can you stop bothering me with this whole questions, today is my birthday you should be more worried about how I look than worrying about someone tgat is a nobody to you." I can't believe my mother can be so insensitive like this. She sounded like Edna was not born by a mother just I was born and she was born as well.

　　"Mom! Can you stop this? What am I going to tell Alpha Baron when he gets here." My mom facial expression changed when she heard what I said.

　　"What? Alpha Baron was invited?" Mom asked and suddenly smiled. She smiled very bright and started worrying about her wrinkled face.

　　"Why didn't you tell me that such an important guest is going to be present?" She asked angrily and started hurrying to her room so that the makeup artist can start their work on her face.

　　"Edna is your wife Darrel you should come up with a story to tell her dad, I have more important things to take care of right now." She said and hurried upstairs.

　　I was totally confused and she isn't picking her phone, or didn't she go with it? I asked tried calling again several times but she still wasn't picking the calls, I could already tell that she was not in the right place to pick call. I wonder how far mummy sent her.

　　"I don't know if she took the car with her." I muttered to myself and just in time, Albert walked up to me.

　　"I have been searching the whole place for you, I didn't know you were here." Albert said the moment he sighted me.

　　"You don't look good what is the problem?" Albert asked. Anyone that sees my face could easily tell yhat I was bothered by something, only my mom couldn't tell immediately because she was more concerned about her make up than the matter that was bothering me.

　　"I'm not home Albert, I'm really bothered about Edna, she left the house hours ago and she's still not back? I have tried texting and calling but she's not responding to any of them.

　　"I feel like I'm losing my mind already with what's going on right now." I complained to Albert.

　　"Is her dad going to be here for the birthday party?" Albert asked. I sighed when I heard the question he asked.

　　"He's on his way here already, in a few minutes he will be here and if he doesn't see her here I don't know what to tell him,

　　Albert could tell that I was very bothered with the way I was almost panicking while talking to him.

　　"Calm down Darrel Edna would be fine wherever she is." Albert said to me, apart from what I would tell her dad, "Albert I'm trying. I'm trying my best to remain calm but think I'm about it clearly and knowing my mom was the one that sent her made me even worry more.

　　"You know how my mom can be and you're still telling me to stay calm. She dislikes Edna more than anyone else in the world. I have tried understanding but I just can't be understanding at this point." I explained to Albert so that he can be calm and understand where I am coming from because he was beginning to make it look like I was being skeptical for no reason.

　　We decided to go check the cars and see if she used any of the cars to run the errand. When we checked them I was shocked to see that the cars were complete in the house. Does that mean she went without a car.

　　I was even more pissed at this point, I had a feeling this was going to happen that's why I told her yesterday that she should stop trying her best to please my mom because nothing she would do to please her no matter how hard she tried.

　　"What annoys me the most is that I still don't know what she was sent to get maybe that way I would be able to find her by going there myself to pick her up.

　　I turned to look at Albert after his last call hoping there would be a good news from there but Albert shook his head trying to let me know nothing good came out of the call.

　　"This is getting more serious." Albert said to me as we were walking around the party, I sighted Lilian abs the way she glanced at me I could already tell she was hiding something from me, and she might know where Edna is but because she works with mom she has refused to say anything to me.

　　"Do you really think she knows something?" Albert asked me and I nodded my head in agreement.

　　"Let's see about that." Albert said to me. I knew he was going to take care of it so I had nothing to worry about anymore. I headed back inside the party hall and my mom was nowhere around, I guessed she went in to dress up while I was waiting for Alberts call I tried to mingle a little with the guests so that I don't look like an untrained son of the Alpha because I spent years away from the pack.

　　While I was greeting them my mind was not at ease because o was still worried about Edna. I sighted Alpha Baron walk into the Karyn hall and my heart skipped, "I can't believe he's here already." I muttered to myself and sighed. I didn't even think of what to tell him because i was hoping she wound he back before he gets here.

　　The other guests were surprised to see Alpha Baron because he barely attends parties but he chose to attend because Edna was married to Darrel.

　　I walked up to him and greeted. He looked really happy to see me and I could see him looking around, I knew he was trying to search for Edna.

　　"Come here dad." I said to him and gave him the VIP table where he was supposed to seat for the party.
