Writer's pov

　　Alpha Baron was very pleased to see Ryder but he wasn't exactly happy when Edna was yet to show there. He looked around several times trying to know where she is but she seemed nowhere around the party. He turned to look at Darrel who was also bothered but he has to pretend like everything was fine so that Alpha Baron wouldn't trace something was wrong.

　　"How's it going?" Darrel picked the call immediately and asked.

　　"You were right, she knew everything from the start." Darrel clenched his teeth and made a fist as he was listening to Darrel, his hatred for Lilian even grew more. He was finding it hard to believe that she and his mother will go to such length just to punish an innocent young lady.

　　"Where is she?" Darrel asked.

　　"She was sent to her clothes from a designed in a far away pack and she had to go because your mom was crying that her birthday has been ruined." While Darrel was listening to Albert, he turned to the stairs and sighted his mom walking down the stairs with her birthday outfit. He placed his hand on his head tiredly as he watched his mother.

　　"She wanted her home at the party." Darrel muttered as he looked at his mom. "The problem now is we don't know where she was sent to, because it's a nameless place and if we go there there is a chance we would miss her." Albert said to Darrel. Darrel turned to look at Alpha Baron then he remembered what Edna said to him last night that he would be attending the birthday only to see his daughter face.

　　"Albert, I have to come up with something to tell him, else I don't know anymore," Darrel said to Albert and they both ended the call. Darrel was confused, he kept thinking of what to say, but at least now he knows that Edna is safe she just have to find her way back to the pack. He was losing

　　his mind earlier thinking that something really bad must have happened.

　　"I told her mom can't be pleased by her but she refused to listen." I muttered as I watched mom with a bright smile when she has succeeded in sending Edna away.

　　"I can't believe she has the guts to call me over there." Darrel muttered and let out a fake smile heaving towards their direction. She was saying hi to Edna's father and when he asked of Edna she called her son knowing fully well that she is behind what happened.

　　"Darrel, is Edna back from work because her dad is really curious, I have to go meet others." She said and excused herself. Darrel was surprised that his mom has put him on the spot that he doesn't like. He was wondering why she would even tell the Alpha that Edna went to work when she know very well that Edna took leave because of her birthday.

　　"She had something very Important to take care of which is why she had to go before you arrived here." Darrel lied. Alpha Baron stared at Darrel and he could tell there was something wrong and the daughter he knows is a very selfless person, no matter how important that work is she would miss Darrel's mother birthday to focus on Work.

　　"Okay." Alpha Baron said and stood up from where he was sitting. Darrel was shocked to see him stand up, he was wondering if he got upset because of what he said to him or because he didn't get to see his daughter.

　　"Are you leaving already?" Darrel asked still a little shocked. Alpha Baron tapped him on his shoulder and smiled.

　　"When she return tell her I was here like I promised, but she didn't fulfill hers." Alpha Baron said and left the party.

　　Darrel was shocked Alpha Baron was leaving just because his daughter was absent at the party.

　　Darrel decided to listen a little to what the people around Alpha Baron were saying and he realized they were saying horrible things about Edna.

　　"She's so irresponsible by missing her mother's party and choosing work. If I was her mother I wouldn't spare her." One of them said. Darrel realized that's why he had his face squeezed all through his stay inside.

　　Darrel escorted him till he got into the car and headed back inside when he was gone. Darrel was a little relieved because He was more concerned about him and how he would react if he were here when Edna would return to the house.

　　He tried calling her again and her phone was no longer ringing. "Did it off?" Darrel asked himself as he dropped the phone on the table. Soon Albert joined him inside and they were both nervously waiting for Edna to return.

　　"Don't you think it's better we go in search of her, what if something bad happens to her?" Albert asked and Darrel placed his hand in his neck, he was getting scared. The birthday party was half way gone and the celebrant was still greeting the guests.

　　Darrel was even more upset to see her bright smile after whet she has done. She satisfied herself by kicking Wdna away so that she won't be introduced to the guests. Well she got what she was red because Edna was too interested in how to please her.

　　"I just hope she's safe wherever she is." Darrel muttered and geaved a sigh. When his mother was done greeting people at the other side of the table, he could tell she was already free so he decided to walk up to her and hear from her why she did such a thing to Edna.

　　While they were heading upstairs he smiled and when they got to the room he shut the door and turned to look at her angrily.

　　"Mom, how can you be so evil?" Darrel asked his mother angrily. His mother was very angry to hear the question he asked her, she was wondering why he would ask such a question in the first place when he knows very well that today is her birthday and she deserve to be treated the best way and with so much love.

　　"Are you trying to accuse me of something?" Luna Becky asked him angrily. Darrel still couldn't believe what was going on and how his mother has suddenly painted herself as the victim all of a sudden.

　　"Mom, stop pretending I know the truth already. You sent her to get your birthday dress which of course you are already wearing. "Mom what did she ever do to you, why do you hate her this much?" Darrel asked his mom angrily.

　　His mom folded her hand around her chest the moment she heard what Darrel said. She realized there was no point pretending anymore when the truth is out already.

　　"It's my birthday Darrel and I have the right to chose who stays and who him goes." She said angrily still trying to prove that she hasn't done anything wrong. Darrel was even more pissed to hear what she said. He was wondering why she was so cold blooded to Edna.

　　"Mom!" Darrel yelled at the top of his voice. Luna Nevky was shocked. Her hear skipped a beat and she was shocked to hear his voice that loud. She suddenly because motionless as she stared at her so yell at her for the first time.

　　"Darrel I warned you, and you promised it was over for good ans you would never fall in love with her again. What happened to that promise?" She asked. Darrel placed his hand on his head tiredly when he heard everything his mother said. She was only trying to make herself the victim. Though he l wa he went back on his promise, but feelings I'd not something that he had control of, if he did he would have stopped himself a million times from falling in love with her again.

　　"That's not the issue here mom, the issue here is that I don't know what has come over you and the fact that you don't feel fad after doing such a thing is really scary." Darrel said to his mother and walked away. He already knew what she was trying to do and as her son thag knows her very well he knew that she was only saying that to make him think he had done worse than her.

　　The moment he got downstairs he looked around and saw how everyone was drinking eating and dancing happily but the girl that made the party a success is somewhere in the woods finding her way back to the house. The party had almost ended and people were already leaving. Darrel kept checking the time and there was still no sign of her until everyone was finally out.

　　It was getting dark and now the fear went from 0-100 Darrel tried calling her again but she was not picking. They all sat in the sitting room waiting for her. Only Becky wished her not to return safely.

　　They heard the doorbell and Darrel immediately went to open the door. The moment he opened the door she fell on him.

　　Albert and Lilian stood up while Becky watched still sitting.
