Writer's pov

　　It was beginning to look like a battle between Lilian and Edna. Edna was not ready to give Darrel up and Lilian was not ready to drop her interest in Alpha Darrel.

　　Luna Becky on the other hand was already making life too hard for Edna and especially with the way she was trying to push Lilian towards Alpha Darrel, it was making Edna sick.

　　"Good morning." Edna greeted Alpha Darrel as she was stretching her hand tiredly. Alpha Darrel was so tired from the work stress last night that he almost forgot he had work to attend to that day.

　　Edna stood up from the bed and headed inside the toilet. When she was done with the toilet she walked out and sat on the bed while watching Alpha Darrel dress up, she picked up her phone from the bed and went through it.

　　"Are you okay?" Alpha Darrel asked when he noticed the change in her facial expression. Edna raised her head to look at him and smiled.

　　"I'm fine, I just wanted to go through this urgently," Edna replied to him with a smile on her face. Alpha Darrel smiled and picked up his phone because he was all set to leave. He picked up his bag and stormed out of the room. Edna didn't see any reason to walk him out of the room, she continued what she was doing with her phone until she mistakingly sighted his wristwatch. She picked up the wristwatch and rushed out of the room.

　　When she got out of the room she was shocked to see Lilian having a conversation with her husband on the dining. She squeezed the wristwatch in her hand and angrily walked back into the room. She was still yet to let her husband know that she was already having feelings for him, that has been her biggest fear, falling in love with him again, seeing Lilian with him just now got Edna rattled. She dropped the wristwatch on the table and sat on the bed but she thought that's not the right step to take.

　　She stood up from the bed and picked the wristwatch before walking out of the room angrily. While she was walking downstairs she was very pissed watching both of them. They were not in good terms for a while how are they suddenly close again? A lot was going through her mind as she was walking downstairs.

　　"Darrel." Edna called him the moment she got to the dinning area. Alpha Darrel stood up immediately and turned to look at her. Lilian also turned to look at her when she heard Edna's voice. She knew there was a reason why Edna rushed downstairs the way she did.

　　"What?" He asked with a smile on his face, he walked closer to her and Edna tried everything within her just to swallow the anger she was feeling. She let out a bright smile and showed him the wristwatch.

　　"What were you thinking?" Edna said to him while wearing him the wristwatch. Alpha Darrel was very happy to see Edna wear him the wristwatch.

　　"At least I got you to wear it for me." He said to her with a bright smile on her face. Seeing both of them being so happy together got Lilian upset and jealous. She angrily stood up from the dinning and took some steps backwards.

　　"Was that your plan?" Edna asked and they both sat on the dinning. Lilian and Edna turned to look at each other. Edna was trying to show to her that no matter how hard she tries Alpha Darrel will always come back to her.

　　"I have to go now." Alpha Darrel said when he noticed he was running late to work. "I thought you were going to ditch work and stay with your wife today." Luna Becky said as she was heading towards the sitting room. Edna turned to look at her and sighed because she knew the mood in the house will definitely change with Luna Becky presence.

　　Alpha Darrel stepped out of the house after pecking Edna on the forehead which got Luna Becky a little upset.

　　Edna decided to head back to her room when Alpha Darrel left the house but with the way things were in the sitting room, she knew they would definitely irritate her.

　　"Are you happy?" Luna Becky asked all of a sudden. Edna turned to look at her when she heard the question Luna Becky asked.

　　Edna walked towards her abs sat on the couch with her legs crossed. Lilian was standing beside her as usual. Edna brushed her hair backwards and put the hair behind her ear.

　　"I am, I am very happy." Edna replied with a smile on her face. Luna Becky was pissed to hear what Edna said to her.

　　"You see why I will never ever accept you? Because of your guts." Luna Becky said to Edna. Edna had already gotten used to hearing Luna Becky say horrible things to her which is why she was not moved after hearing what Luna Becky said to her.

　　"This is the hundredth time you're telling me this," Edna replied to her with a smile on her face. Luna Becky sat up properly and looked at Edna's face.

　　"I will never let you take my son away from me, I will do whatever it takes to make sure he doesn't end up loving you." Luna Becky said to Edna with her teeth clenched. Edna smiled when she heard what Luna Becky said because she was not in any way moved by her empty threats, she already accepted the fact that Luna Becky would never like her.

　　"You might need to fasten your belt because your fears are turning to reality." Edna said to Luna Becky and decided herself. "You daughter of a bitch!" Luna Becky yelled at the top of her voice. Edna paused walking when she heard what Luna Becky said and folded her hand angrily while trying not to react. She continued going upstairs when she got calm.

　　When Edna got to the room she closed the door angrily and sat on the floor. She was trying her best to chest everything Luna Becky was saying to her but she just couldn't take it in the right way. "Why does she try her best to ruin my mood every time?" Edna asked herself as she was sitting in the floor struggling not to cry.

　　She felt sad and emotional but there was no one to talk to, even though she and Alpha Darrel are in a better situation she still didn't think it was okay to tell him her worries because it has something to do with his mother.

　　Edna stood up from the floor and sat on the bed. She picked her phone from the bed and thought of calling Amber but she dropped the phone back on the bed without calling again.

　　She is still on work leave, maybe she took the break when it wasn't needed.

　　It was already getting dark and Alpha Darrel was not yet back from work. Edna stood up from the bed and took her shower before stepping out of the room, it felt like she was going crazy with the same routine of waking up eat and sleep.

　　"What are you doing there?" Edna asked Lilian angrily when she saw her eating on the dinning like she was a family member. Lilian stood up from the dinning immediately she heard Edna's voice. She thought Edna was sleeping which is why she had the confidence to eat on the dinning.

　　"I'm sorry, I…" Lilian suddenly realized she was shaking too much when she cowardly has the support of Luna Becky. She raised her head to look at Edna and smiled.

　　"Have I don't anything wrong?" Edna was shocked to hear what Lilian said, just as she thought Lilian is going to be arrogant about the whole thing.

　　"Are you now seeing yourself as a part of the family? Why do you think you have the right to seat on the dinning where the family members are meant to sit?" Edna asked Lilian angrily. Lilian was about to talk when she saw Luna Becky walking towards them then she quickly changed her facial expression and started apologizing to Edna. Edna was shocked to see the sudden change in her character.

　　"What are you doing now?" Edna asked Lilian.

　　"Why are you bullying her?" Luna Becky asked all of a sudden. Edna finally understood what was going on, just as she thought Lilian was not being sincere with her sudden change in character.

　　"I did not do anything to her, I was only…"Edna paused talking when she realized there was no poking explaining herself because it'll only make things get worse. Luna Becky hates her so there's no way she would be able to not see something wrong in what she was saying.

　　"I always knew there was this side of you and it won't be long before you show your true colors." Luna Becky said to Edna. Edna couldn't help but laugh when she heard what Luna Becky said to her.

　　"You can believe what you want, there's no point trying to explain myself to you when you will never give me listening ears," Edna said to Luna Becky and walked away angrily.

　　The wall between them was getting stronger and the respect Edna had for Luna Becky was slowly dropping.
