Alpha Darrel pov

　　While I was on my way back to the house it suddenly crossed my mind what Edna would be doing and how her relationship with mom was slowly affecting her.

　　I never imagined it'll be this bad even if her identity changes.

　　"Stop at that mall," I said to the driver and just as I said he stopped the car, I got out and headed into the mall, it's the first time in a while I'm stopping by a shopping mall to get something. I walked around trying to see what I can get, it's been a while so I couldn't pick exactly what I wanted, I just couldn't wrap my head around what she will like. after a while I finally picked something that she might like and headed out of the mall.

　　While the driver drove me back to the house I kept thinking of she will like what I got her. I couldn't stop checking it.

　　After a while we finally arrived and I headed into the house. While I was walking into the house I checked what I got again and started thinking it might be too childish.

　　The moment I got in I sighted them in the sitting room, it was mom and Lilian, they looked like they were having a serious conversation. I looked around and just as I imagined Edna was no where to be found, they were having such a fun moment without her.

　　"Look at my lovely son, my Prince Charming. Welcome back home." Luna Becky said to her son and stood up to go meet him. Alpha Darrel was not happy seeing his mom and Lilian together with Edna nowhere around them.

　　"Mom where is Edna?" Alpha Darrel asked almost immediately ruining his mother's mood completely. The smile on her face faded the moment she heard the question he asked her.

　　"How am I supposed to know where she is?" Luna Becky asked angrily and went back to where she was sitting. Alpha Darrel found it unbelievable that his mom was acting insensitive to such an important topic.

　　"Mom, when is this going to stop? When are you going to stop treating her like she's not a part of this family? I am married to her for crying out loud." Alpha Darrel said to his mother with a louder tone. Luna Becky was shocked to hear Alpha Darrel speak to her with such a tone l, she was expecting him to apologize or do something else only for him to speak to her like that,

　　"You son of a…." She stopped herself from saying anything that would hurt her son. Alpha Darrel knew that there was no point continuing the conversation with his mother so he went to the room so he could see how Edna was doing.

　　While he was walking upstairs Luna Becky saw the thing her son was carrying and it broke her heart even more. She has never gotten any present from her son and he is getting something for his wife.

　　"I can't believe this boy." Luna Becky said angrily panting really hard, she was too upset especially after seeing what he got for Edna.

　　When Alpha Darrel got to the room he sighed Edna was sitting on the bed and using her phone as usual, it broke his heart to see her isolating herself from his mother.

　　"Hey." She said to him the moment she sighted him with a bright smile on her face. Alpha Darrel smiled back and shut the door, then he walked closer to her and handed what he got to her. Edna was curious to know what is inside the bag.

　　"I can't believe you got me something." She said to him with a smile on her face and brought out what was inside the bag. She looked very excited to see that he thought about her on his way back from work so much that he got her something so beautiful. Alpha Darrel was trying to see from her facial expression if she liked what he got her.

　　And he facial expression was very positive, she seemed very elated to see what he got for her.

　　"I'm so happy, you can't even imagine," She said to him with a bright smile on her face. Alpha Darrel was happy to see her happy, he went to the closet and changed his cloth. After changing he walked into the bathroom for his shower. While he was in the shower, Edna dropped what he got for her and was in deep thought.

　　She was happy for a moment when she saw the gift but after thinking about it very well she thought she's not supposed to be very excited because it's not like she's loved by his family.

　　When he was done bathing he walked out of the bathroom and sat on the bed.

　　"What did you do all day?" He asked her. Alpha and turned to look at him, "You don't have to feel bad for me, I'm used to it already." Edna said to Alpha Daniel when she noticed he was feeling bad for her.

　　"Are you sure you're okay with the way you are treated here?" Alpha Darrel asked. Edna couldn't help but laugh when she heard what he said because does she have a choice even though she's treated unfairly.

　　"You sound like I have a choice." Edna said to Alpha Darrel and they both laughed. He was relieved to see her laughing though he still felt bad for her.

　　"Let's go eat dinner." Alpha Darrel said to Edna and they both walked out of the room. When they got to the dinning Edna sat down with a bright smile on her face not minding the two people on the dinning with her.

　　"I should have considered having two children back then." Luna Becky said and paused eating. Alpha Darrel already knew why she was saying something like that is because he wasn't giving her the attention she wanted.

　　Edna looked at Darrel and was happy to see that he didn't care too much about what his mom was saying.

　　"It would have saved me the stress of always having your attention." Alpha Darrel replied to her and smiled. Edna knew he was only teasing her so that she will stop acting like a child and just eat her food.

　　"You ungrateful boy." Luna Becky said angrily and was about to throw the spoon on him when she stopped herself, she turned to look at Edna angrily and started picking her food, she thought Edna was the cause of the misunderstanding with her son, if only she didn't come into their lives they would have been living happily.

　　Edna was quiet because she kind of felt bad for what was going on, she thought if she didn't come into their lives they would have still been living happily.

　　"Mom, you know you are blowing this out of proportion, I don't think I have done anything to make you this upset." Alpha Darrel said to his mother and sighed.

　　Luna Becky stared at him angrily when she heard what he said, because he's obviously not admitting his fault instead he's trying to tell her to reason with him when he's clearly wrong.

　　"You don't see anything wrong in What you're doing? Really? Can't you see that you are breaking my heart?" Luna Becky said to him trying to blackmail him emotionally. It started better but now the whole thing has turned sour.

　　Alpha Darrel slammed his hand on the table and his mother immediately turned to look at him. "I came here with the thought of having dinner with my family but it seems as though I have made a mistake coming down here." Alpha Darrel said to his mother and excused himself from the dinning. Edna was not pleased to see what just happened and Lilian was also unhappy.

　　Luna Becky turned to look at Edna angrily because it is all coming to her at the end of the day.

　　"Are you happy how? You are getting what you want." Luna Becky said to Edna angrily. Edna folded her dress into several folds while she was trying not to react. She turned to look at Becky angrily and later the anger turned into a bright smile.

　　Luna Becky thought it was weird of her to be smiling when she's obviously supposed to be angry.

　　"Do I have any reason to be unhappy?" Edna asked as she was getting up from the dinning chair. Lilian was very angry to hear what Edna said to Luna Becky.

　　"I can't believe this wrench has the guts to speak to me." Luna Becky said directly talking to Edna. Edna stopped and turned to look at Luna Becky. You need to stop looking angry all the time, it only makes you get wrinkles." Edna said to Luna Becky and walked away with a bright smile on her face.

　　Luna Becky was losing her cool completely the moment she heard what Edna said to her.

　　"Did she just call me old?" Luna Becky asked Lilian still in shock.
