CHAPTER 84

  Writer's pov

"I never said I don't trust you, I'm sorry if I made you feel some type of way." He apologized and used his hand to clean his face tiredly. I turned back to look at him when I heard him apologize. I knew that there's no way he would start having ideas in his head if no one put the ideas in his head.

"It's fine, I know you were upset, what made you think I was lying to you, I mean, you never doubt me like that." I said to him and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Mom said a few things that made me wave a little." He confessed, I knew she must have a hand in his sudden suspicions. Though I was a little disappointed he let his mom put ideas in his head but at the same time I couldn't blame him for thinking that way because she's still his mom and it's normal for him to do what his mom wants but it's just that his mom on this case is different, she hates me more than she anyone would hate her enemy.

I raised my head to look up and then I sighted Lilian, I wasn't expecting that she would be watching us from up like that, I suddenly felt suffocated, I felt sick having to live in such a situation.

"It's almost time for dinner." Alpha Darrel said to me and I hummed before sitting properly. I raised my head again and she was no longer there, it was getting scary, at first it seemed cute when it felt like I was fighting for what belonged to me, right now I think it's different, I feel scared living in this house, everyday it feels suffocating and after seeing Lilian watching us few minutes ago, I realized I might be wrong when I thought I would be able to fight for my position In this house.

After some minutes everyone was downstairs and we all headed to the dinning to eat dinner, I was silent because I'm yet to recover from what I saw, on a normal day I would have chipped in some words when they were talking even thought it'll annoy Luna Becky I still wanted her to know that I'm a part of the family, but right now I'm still frightened and I don't know what she's capable of doing yet.

"Are you okay?" Alpha Darrel asked me so many times and instead of saying something I just nodded my head, I was trying to avoid eye contact with her completely, that's how I tried to stay quiet all through dinner.

"I have a guest coming over tomorrow," Luna Becky announced on the dinning. I turned to look at her and I could see how elated she looked, the visitor might be someone I won't like to gage around.

"Mom, I know you well enough to know that you don't have friends, so which of your friend is coming over?" Alpha Darrel asked Luna Becky. She seemed disappointed to hear her son tell her the truth, but he wasn't lying, she had no friends because they all thought she was a bad friend after what she was rumored to have done to her best friend back then when we were still young.

"What makes you think I don't have a friend? I can't believe you are saying such nonsense with so much confidence." Luna Becky said angrily and continued eating. I will just wait till I see who it is, but it'll be no surprises if the person dislikes me as much as she does.

When we were done having dinner we all headed back to the room. I was still a little mad at him so I didn't bother waiting up for him as usual instead I went to bed immediately I got to the room. I was trying to sink in the reality that at the end of the day she's still his mother and he's going to waver a lot more after today since his mom's words still had holds on him.

He walked into the room and checked on me but my eyes were closed really tight I didn't want him to know that I was yet to fall asleep.

"I can't believe she slept off immediately." He muttered and lay on the bed. The moment he laid down I opened my eyes I have to think of what to do from now on.

  ******

  The next morning.

I was the first to wake up, it's weekend and Alpha Darrel doesn't have work to attend. I couldn't sleep well last night because I kept thinking about Cassandra and her kids, I kept wondering if her daughter had already woken up or if her son finally said something to her after the shock.

After gulping the glass of water I dropped the cup on the table and heaved a sigh. "Instead of worrying why don't I go see her." I muttered to myself and stood up from where I was sitting, I was about to head upstairs when I sighted Lilian tiptoeing, I had to take some steps back and look for where to hide so I can see what she was planning to do.

While I was watching her I covered my mouth with my hand when I saw what she was going and her reason for tiptoeing, I can't believe Lilian would do such a thing.

"Where is she going with it?" I asked myself and continued watching. When she was finally out of sight I came out of where I was hiding and sighed. I really can't believe what I just saw Lilian do, where did it all go wrong for her? Was she always like this?

I kept beating myself with so many questions concerning Lilian, maybe I was just the one that didn't notice some of this things.
