Edna's pov

　　After a while he walked out of the bathroom and I closed my eyes immediately still pretending to be asleep. His body was all soaked while he was still dressed. He headed towards the closet and picked what to wear then walked back into the bathroom.

　　Everything felt like a movie to me because what in god's name is going on? Maybe it's time I wake up so that I can find out what's going on.

　　I sat up on the bed rubbing my eyes like I just woke up.

　　"Darrel." I called softly, he rushed out of the bathroom immediately he heard me call his name.

　　"Hey, you're awake." He said to me and let out a soft smile. He looked like a complete different person again. Few minutes ago he was losing his mind but here he is all soft and sweet towards me, it was almost impossible for me to know what's going on because there was no sign that there was something troubling him.

　　I stood up from the bed and walked into the toilet with the excuse of going to wash my face. He moment I walked in I heaved a sigh because there's obviously nothing I can do to hear anything from him. Maybe it's something he's not ready to talk about.

　　I walked out of the toilet and he was no longer in the room. I changed my dress into my night wear and walked out of the room, obviously it was time for dinner, I had plans of skipping dinner but with the way his mood was there's no way I wouldn't be there with him during dinner.

　　While I was walking downstairs I sighted Luna Becky stand up angrily from the couch and started walking towards me, I was wondering why she looked so upset until he palm landed on my cheeks heavily.

　　I opened my mouth with my hand on the affected area. I was confused, why did she slap me?

　　"Mom!" Darrel yelled angrily and walked towards me.

　　"What? Are you going to hit your mom because she slapped your wife?" Luna Becky asked angrily. I couldn't tell anymore what Darrel was capable of not doing when he spoke to his mon the way he did few minutes ago, so I stepped in immediately stopping him from interfering.

　　"What did I do? Why did you slap me?" I asked her a little upset. I would rather face her then let Ryder face her again then she ends up blaming me for making Darrel treat her badly.

　　"Are you really asking such stupid question Edna?" Luna Becky said to me angrily. I scoffed when I heard what she said. I don't know why she's doing this but I know that there's a strong reason why.

　　"Mom, you know you don't have any right to treat her that way." Alpha Darrel said angrily. Immediately my attention was moved to Lilian standing beside her, from the look on Lilian's face and the hold she has on Luna Becky now I could already sense that it was Lilian's idea that she slaps me.

　　I moved closer to Lilian, the only way I would leave my mark for this slap that was given to me is only if I slap her on her face. So I hit her hard on her face angrily.

　　There's no way I would slap Luna Becky directly so slapping her would be my only revenge solution.

　　Luna Becky was shocked to see what I did so was everyone in the sitting room.

　　"Why would you.." Lilian was about to asked when she saw the look on my face.

　　"Why don't you complete the statement? Were you about to ask why you were stepped?" I added her and chuckled a little.

　　"I would give you a reply when Luna Becky tells me why she slapped me," I replied to her and walked to the dinning.

　　I know that it was a shock to them that I reacted for the first time. Lilian still looked shocked. Luna Becky couldn't stay anything, and Darrel looked surprised to see the way I reacted for the first time. After listening to Darrel today in the restaurant I realized that there was nothing I could do stop Luna Becky from treating me bad the only way I would be able to respond from now is doing what she does to me to her personal maid, religiously I'm doing the same thing back to her.

　　"You really want to know why I slapped you?" She asked me all of a sudden. I turned to look at Luna Becky when I heard what she said.

　　"Yes, because I don't remember doing anything to you, every time I have done things to please you but your hatred towards me has stopped you from doing the right thing." I said to her angrily.

　　"I tripped and fell today then I called but you told your husband not to come black home." Luna Becky said to me. I couldn't hold in the laughter when I heard what she said to me, I didn't know what came over me but I suddenly didn't give a fuck anymore.

　　"Why should he run back home, when you look just fine." Everyone seated on the dinning was shocked to hear what I said and from the look on their faces I could tell they were shocked.

　　"What? How dare you?" Lilian said angrily then I turned to look at her.

　　Writer's pov

　　Edna was already sick and tired of being treated badly by Luna Becky and after listening to Darrel today she realized maybe she had just been too soft that's why she has been treated that way by them.

　　"What makes you think you have the right to be sitting down her with us, have you forgotten you are not a part of this family?" I said to Liliana angrily. She was shocked to hear what I said to her, it's the first time I was speaking to her like that, usually I would speak to her softly hoping that one day we would go back to the way we used to be but after realizing there was no point hoping for a relationship that has ended a long time ago I decided to start giving her the right energy.

　　"What had gotten into you Edna? Have you forgotten she's my right hand person and how you address her is the level of respect you have for me, have you lost your sense of reasoning?" She asked me angrily.

　　"You seem to forget that I am the Luna of the pack ahd you've been speaking to me rudely, how do you expect your right hand lady to treat me?" I asked her curiously.

　　The dinner was not going the way Luna Becky had planned, I was in the mood of replying her and I can't stand watching Lilian speak to me rudely like that because she has the backing of Luna Becky.

　　"Do you think you are the Luna of the pack now because my son has been treating you better?" Luna Becky asked. I really don't know why she asked the question like that because I never implied that her son has been treating me better than her.

　　From the misunderstanding I was slowly realizing that she was acting that way because her son has been treating me with love because that explained why she's been making references to how he's been treating me.

　　"Are you doing all these because your son is now loving towards me?" I asked her this time with a sad look on my face because it would hurt for me to find out that the reason why her hatred for me worsened is because of her son sudden soft spot towards me.

　　She glared at me and I didn't move my eyes a bit, we stared at each other for a while before she walked away and Lilian followed behind.

　　"It's just a matter of time." I said aloud and Lilian stopped on her tracks. Alpha Darrel had already left the dinning because the conversation was not getting us anywhere.

　　Liliana walked back to the dinning and sat down.
