Alpha Daniel pov

　　The next morning.

　　I woke up to the elders in the pack house like there was a serious issue at hand.

　　"What's going on?" I asked Hope who was also looking shocked and scared at the same time.

　　"I really don't know, but I think it's better you don't go there, they looked very upset." Hope said to me and started pacing around the room.

　　"Where's mom?" I asked and just immediately we heard a knock on the door.

　　"It's me, open the door." We heard mom say gently. Hope rushed to open the door and Becky walked into the room.

　　"Mom, what's going on?" I asked Becky curiously. She sat on the bed hopelessly like something big was about to happen. "Mom, please say something." I said to her while she was still not saying anything to me.

　　"It's over Dan." She said almost in a whisper. My heart skipped. I felt like my blood flow stopped for a minute as I tried to wrap what's going on around my head.

　　"I don't understand what you're saying, I woke up this early morning to the shocking news that the pack chiefs are in the house and now you're saying it's over? What the fuck is over!" I yelled at the top of my voice angrily. I was scared, I didn't want to think that Alpha Darrel must have done something again.

　　Mom wasn't saying anything so I decided to take the big move and walk out of the room. "If you're not going to say anything, I better go find out for myself." I said angrily and walked out of the room.

　　"Daniel, come back here." Becky tried calling me back but I was too curious to see what's going on so I didn't bother listening to her this time.

　　When I got to the sitting room I was shocked to see the number of elders in the sitting room, they were not only chiefs but also Alpha's from neighboring packs.

　　"What's going on?" That's the question I kept asking myself while I was walking down the stairs.

　　I got to where they were and looked them in the face. I needed to know my offense that way I would know why they are here, especially in a group like that.

　　I had to feign a smile immediately so that the shock on my face wouldn't be too obvious.

　　"Good day, I.. I am really shocked to see y'all here, I don't know what…"

　　"Can you stop talking…" words failed me the moment I heard his tone.

　　"I…"

　　"Daniel, we know the truth now." My heart skipped when I heard what the elder said. What is the truth and why do they look so serious while talking to me?

　　"I don't understand what you are trying to say, and you just called me by name? Have you forgotten where you are?" I asked them angrily.

　　I tried to remind them that I'm still the Alpha of the pack even though I knew that there was a serious issue on ground.

　　"You still have the guts to call yourself an Alpha?" One of them shouted angrily. Becky placed her hands on my shoulder trying to stop me from saying more words.

　　"You and your mother not only punished him but you two also took everything that belonged to him. You are such despicable people, Alpha Jak would definitely be regretting you were ever born," I folded my hand angrily into a fist and sighted Alpha Darrel and Edna walking down the stairs.

　　I can't believe he went as far as assembling all the elders into the house just to prove that he is the real heir to everything that Alpha Jak had.

　　I wanted to rip him apart, but I stopped myself.

　　"This has to be a misunderstanding, I have never done anything like that, I mean… Alpha Darreland I are…" I didn't know the lie to tell, my legs were numb, there was nothing else going through my head at the moment.

　　My mouth hung open as words failed me. At this point I knew there was no way I could defend myself. I turned to look at Alpha Darrel who seemed pretty excited about what was going on.

　　"We have decided to do the right thing." One of them announced. My head was hurting badly as I was trying to think of what to say.

　　"What is your decision? We will do as you have said." Becky said to them trying not to be defensive because she knew there was enough proof to show that they were guilty.

　　"Mom." I called her. She turned to loin at me without saying a word. Hope was also not saying anything, she kept mute like it was none of her business. Just as I turned around I sighted Edna.

　　Our eyes met and I wasn't able to say anything to her. She didn't say anything to me either, it seemed like she had always been on his side. I lowered my eyes to her belly and I wished I could get hold of the baby growing inside of her. It took more than four years for her to carry my baby in that womb, and it took my step brother less than two years to get her pregnant.

　　It felt like I was slowly losing everything to him which was making my situation more pitiful.

　　"You will have to leave the pack house." One of the elders announced it all of a sudden. Blood rushed up my ears as a wave of dizzy spells hit me square in the jaw. I staggered back like I was tipsy. My heart thundered in my chest, the vital organ threatening to tear through my skin.

　　It felt like a horrible nightmare, how do I lose everything in less than a month.

　　"We don't have any other choice, you did such a horrible thing to your brother and we were kind enough to not banish you." He continued.

　　Hope rushed upstairs immediately and the elders excused themselves from the pack house. I couldn't stop laughing while I was staggering backwards, it still doesn't look real to me, everything that was happening didn't look real all of a sudden.

　　"Is this why you returned?" I asked him angrily, I couldn't stop myself from confronting him anymore. After all, I have nothing to lose at this point.

　　"What do you mean?" Alpha Darrel asked me. I walked closer to him but mom stopped me by holding my hands. I pushed her hands away immediately trying to warn her not to stop me, this is the time I need to confront him the most.

　　"Daniel, I have nothing to say to you, I would advise you to do as the elders have said and move your things out of the house." Alpha Darrel said to me. I folded my hands into a fist and landed it on Darrel's face.

　　"Oh my goodness." Edna screamed and rushed to help Darrel. I chuckled seeing her expression.

　　"I can't believe you turned yourself into such a person all because I chose to get myself someone that would help you do your job properly." Edna turned to look at me angrily.

　　"What did you just say?" Edna asked me angrily. I could tell from the look on her face that she was very pissed. "You brought in someone that would help me do my job? Are there kids around the house right now?" Edna asked me and started laughing.

　　I was already embarrassed enough by the elders getting any more embarrassed from her would end me completely.

　　"Don't you ever talk about us again, because it's all in the past now." Edna announced with her finger in my face pointing angrily.
