　　He got me something that I have always requested for, I was so happy to see it that I completely forgot I was upset with him a few minutes ago.

　　"I wanted to give it to you tomorrow but because of your mood I chose to give it to you today." Alpha Darrel said to me with a bright smile on his face. I couldn't hide my excitement while staring at it in front of me.

　　"I thought you were more interested in the baby now, remember yesterday the only thing you asked is if your baby was okay, tonight you did the same. You never bother to ask me anymore if I'm okay, how do you expect me to not be jealous?" I asked him angrily and folded my hands across my chest, a little upset.

　　"Now you know that I still care about you, you know no matter how many kids there are, you're always going to come first." Alpha Darrel promised and a smile clouded my face immediately. I can't believe he made me fold so fast.

　　We had a very good conversation before we finally fell asleep, before going to bed he pecked me on the forehead and I smiled.

　　When I woke up the next morning, I stood up and stretched my body tiredly. I could hear noise from outside the pack house but I thought it was just my imagination, but slowly the noise started getting closer.

　　"Darrel. Wake up." I said to him and rushed towards the window, it was the pack members assembling to the pack house. "Darrel, this is serious, stand up," I tried waking him up again and this time he woke up because he could also hear the noise.

　　"Why is there so much noise this early morning?" He asked as he stood up from the bed to see through the window what's going on.

　　He rushed to the closet to change his dress after seeing the amount of pack members in the pack house.

　　"Do you think they're against us?" I asked Alpha Darrel curiously. He was so busy dressing up that he couldn't reply to me.

　　"You stay here, don't step out." He said to me, but I didn't see any reason why I shouldn't step out of the room to see what's going on.

　　"That doesn't make sense," I said to him angrily and he stopped on his tracks.

　　"Why can't you be reasonable for once? Is it so hard for you to listen to simple instructions?" I wasn't finding his choice of words okay at all, he sounded like he was talking to his child or younger sister which got me really pissed.

　　"Don't you dare use such words on me, what makes you think you have the right to speak to me In Such manner?" I asked him angrily. I never imagined the misunderstanding would get to this extent, I was only trying to understand why he doesn't want me to get involved and instead of explaining he's here speaking to me like a child.

　　"There we go again, you are always trying to be the victim, always trying to play the angry one!" At first I saw it as a normal misunderstanding but with the way things are going I could tell he was totally out of it, and if I don't walk away he'll keep saying things that'll hurt me badly.

　　Without replying to him I walked out of the room and the moment I stepped out I sighted Lily coming out of her room.

　　"Hey." She said to me while rubbing her eyes as she was walking towards me. I smiled at her without saying anything because I was trying to be okay after that misunderstanding with Darrel.

　　"What's going on? I can hear noise from my room." Lily said to me and we both headed downstairs. While walking downstairs I sighted Daniel and Becky with the elders in the sitting room. My heart skipped the moment I sighted them.

　　"What's going on?" Lily asked almost in a whisper as we were walking downstairs.

　　We both walked down and the moment we got to where they were Alpha Darrelwalked downstairs. I rolled my eyes the moment I sighted him.

　　"I am surprised to see y'all here this early morning," Alpha Darrelsaid to the elders looking shocked to see them in the sitting room.

　　"We came to settle the unsettled." One of the announcements. I turned to look at Daniel and Becky, I know both of them to be very conniving and evil so I'm sure they must have told the elders something that made them return here.

　　I just knew it wouldn't be easy to kick them out like that, they will always have their way of returning back here.

　　"Can we all head outside?" One of the elders requested, my heart was beating faster than normal, it got worse when I stepped out of the house and saw the multitude of people standing outside the pack house. The one pack members were all assembled outside the pack house. I was wondering what they must have told them this time.

　　Alpha Darrel and I were having a misunderstanding so it was hard for me to say anything to him. I held onto Lily very tight, maybe he knew this would happen which is why he insisted I stay in the room, but stubborn me wouldn't listen.

　　I could tell from the look on Darrel's face that he was scared, just yesterday he was able to get what belongs to him and now there are people gathered in the pack house, we don't know if they are for us or they're against.

　　"We are all gathered here because of what has happened in the pack house, Alpha Jak was a good Alpha to us so there's no way we're going to sit back and watch his family get ruined." My hands were getting sweaty, I was anxious, scared in all I couldn't explain exactly how I was feeling. I just wanted them to be done with the talk so that I would know whose side they're on.

　　There was a short silence from the elders as they were whispering to each other, I could hear murmurs from the pack members as well. I didn't know what they were talking about but I was getting scared with the way the talk from the elders was going.

　　"Yesterday we got a message from the pack house, which contained proof that Alpha Darrel was willing to do everything but Daniel and his mother kicked Alpha Darrel out of the house and gave him nothing. This is not just a punishment to Alpha Darrel but it's also a disobedience of our late Alpha's last words and our heart bleeds that it wasn't treated with respect.

　　I was suddenly feeling at ease when the conversation was getting clear and I was slowly understanding what they were saying. It seemed like they were all on our side but I couldn't be sure yet until it's confirmed.

　　I turned to look at Alpha Darrel and our eyes met, I looked away immediately because I was still upset with him for speaking the way he spoke to me.

　　"Yesterday we gave a light punishment but when the pack members heard their atrocities they got angry and they're totally against the punishment we gave them." The head of the pack chiefs announced. I opened my eyes wider than normal when I heard what he said. What does he mean by what he's saying? Does it mean they're about to give them another punishment?

　　Becky and Daniel were equally shocked and to my greatest surprise he wasn't saying anything. Daniel used to be very defensive but he's talking this so calmly, very different from his person.

　　"We came to the conclusion of an exile." The crowd cheered the news line that's what they actually wanted. I was standing on the same spot in shock. I never intended that it would get this far, though they've wronged me, but going on exile was really extreme, but there's nothing I can do to help because this is what the pack members want.

　　I stared at Darrel's face and he looked very comfortable with the punishment that was given to them.

　　"If that's what they want, we agree." Alpha Darrel announced without thinking about it. The crowd cheered to what he said like he was already the Alpha, watching them exiled made me remember how hurt I was leaving the pack and how it felt like my life had turned upside down. It was such a horrible experience for me and watching someone else go through a worse punishment made me feel bad.

　　"We have a new Alpha!" One of the pack members shouted and immediately Daniel and Yolanda stopped on their track and turned back, the other pack members raised it and Alpha Darrel smiled brightly because they were already seeing him as the Alpha of the pack. The dead stare from Becky and Daniel was so scary that I couldn't feel excited about the crown cheer.

　　"Will they be back?" I asked myself while looking at them.
