　　I nodded my head in agreement with what he said because I was still going to meet with her. That is the only ticket to knowing everything that happened back then because she claimed she was there too.

　　"We have to meet with her because she claims to know a lot that happened back then. Maybe finally I will be able to know little things that I couldn't know about mom and how he ended up dying in the house that day." I explained to Darrell the death of my mother is still like a dream to me because that day we still spoke before I left the house only to return home and meet her lifeless being rushed into the ambulance.

　　I could recall that day very clearly because it lingers in my head every now and then.

　　"How well did you know your mom because you seem so sure about her not having an affair with my dad." Alpha Darrell said to me and I heaved a sigh, I don't know if telling him right now would mean anything. It will be better to find out the truth and then I will boldly tell him how I overheard their conversation that day.

　　"I didn't spend much time with her while she was alive but the little I know about her I knew her too well to know that she would not have an affair with the Alpha if they don't have a past together that is why I am almost a hundred percent sure that my mother and your dad never had an affair." I explained to Alpha Darrell.

　　I knew that no matter what I say now it wouldn't matter anyways at the end of the day so I decided to keep the story short and wait till we find out the truth.

　　It was getting too late and Alpha Darrel needed to go to bed because he has work to attend to tomorrow. Good night Darrell I said to him with a bright smile on my face.

　　The moment we both laid on the bed I opened my eyes still in deep thoughts about what the truth would be. I recalled very well how angry Luna Becky was when she talked about mom and the alpha affair.

　　She sounded like she knew more than I might know about my mom. I sighed heavily and tried to fall asleep. But there was too much lingering in my mind that I could not sleep.

　　I wanted to get up from the bed but I might alert Darrell so I didn't bother getting up from the bed. Instead I decided to go to bed and continue tomorrow.

　　The next morning.

　　Alpha Darrel woke up very early and prepared for work. By the time I woke up he was almost done preparing. I stretched my body on the bed and yawned with my hands covering my mouth.

　　"Hey." I greeted Alpha Darrel with a smile on my face.

　　"Good morning." Darrell replied with a smile on his face. I sat up on the bed and looked at him. He turned to look at me with a funny face like he was wondering why I was staring at him that way.

　　"Are you star struck?" He asked me, feeling fly. I didn't know what to say to him when he asked the question. I just smiled and stood up from the bed.

　　It felt so good to finally leave peacefully with Darrel after so many misunderstandings that we had during the early stage of our Union.

　　"You sure know how to feel yourself." I said to him and helped him arrange his tie properly.

　　We stood the in front of the mirror instead at each other through the mirror and I could tell who were hundred percent compatible maybe that's why we ended up coming back to each other while we were standing there I heard my phone ring I went back to the bed and picked the phone surprisingly it was Amber callI was surprised she called it's the first time she's calling in a while.

　　I picked the call immediately to hear what she has to say because she barely calls.

　　"Hello darling." I said to her with a smile on my face while on the phone with her.

　　Looks like you forgot you have a little sister Amber said to me sounding a little upset I could imagine because I also bear the call her.

　　I had so much that was bothering me that I almost forgot about my own family as well. Hearing our voices again made me feel very happy and I almost forgot that her birthday is in a few days. Maybe that's why she's calling.

　　"I'm so sorry dear I have been very busy lately." I said to her trying to make her calm down and not be too angry with me.

　　"Have you forgotten my birthday is in the next 2 days?" Amber asked.

　　Just as I thought she was calling because of her birthday I smiled when I heard the question she asked. Darrell was wondering who was on the call with the way I was smiling.

　　"How would I forget my little sister's birthday?" I said to her, I know that she must be wondering if I would be present or not.

　　"Are you sure you did not forget?" Amber asked me. I wasn't feeling guilty because I already remembered the moment she called that her birthday is in a few days so I said no immediately.

　　"How would I forget Amber? You mean the world to me so I will never forget your special day." I knew clearly that from what I was saying she was smiling from ear to ear while on the phone call with me.

　　"I will throw a party on my birthday and I want you to be present. Dad has been ill and he would love to see you there too."

　　I was shocked to hear what Amber said to me. I can't believe something this serious was happening and no one cared to tell me about it.

　　"What are you talking about and how am I just hearing about it?" I asked angrily.
