Dominic's POV

　　I almost ran right into Luca. We froze, our eyes held onto each other, the tension between us palpable, one neither of us was willing to release.

　　"Didn't think you'd come," Luca said.

　　I curled a brow, "Likewise."

　　He laughed, crossing his arms. "The Dominic I know wouldn't have gone out of his way to attend a party like this for anybody. You've always made me attend all the parties."
