Xavier.
Immediately we all stepped into the compound, Alarms began to blare and I looked around in surprise. What? How did they detect us.
“We need to retreat.” I said as numerous guards came out in tens. I attempted to run back to the car at Werewolf speed, but I found myself running normally.
I stopped and looked at the others too. Even the Vampires looked like the same had happened.
Dave faced me looking terrified, “Our powers. They’re gone.”
He was right. I couldn’t feel the usual strength that should be coursing through my body. I felt weak and helpless: I felt mundane.
I looked at the guards approaching us and they all held up guns. We all knew we couldn’t run and we didn’t.
I don’t know how they managed to shut off our powers, but we had fallen right into their hands and Valerie would be so worried.
They all began to shoot and the last thing I saw was a dart hit me on the forehead before I went unconscious.
I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes. There was a throbbing pain my head and my body ached.
I groaned and raised my head. I was in a cell.
I looked at the sides and saw that my both arms were stretched wide apart and strong silver chains were strapped around them.
I could now feel the supernatural force supposed to be in me and I knew that our powers had returned.
It was scary to think that the humans, Nexus Services had invented something that could temporarily strip supernaturals of their powers.
The witches once limited the powers of Werewolves to a full moon, but no one has ever been able to do this.
I began to worry. Not for myself, but for Valerie. She’ll call me and she’ll not be able to reach me.
She’ll begin to worry, but it’ll be worse if she calls and my phone is with these Bastards. They can easily trace the calls and they’ll find out where they are.
I took a look at the chains again and groaned as I struggled to break free from them.
I twisted my hand and grabbed them, groaning loudly as I pulled them, hoping that they would remove from where they were attached to.
I stopped and looked at the door as it opened. A bald middle aged man walked in and a guard followed him behind carrying a box..
“Hello, Mr. Blade.” He smiled at me and I stared at him furiously.
He glanced at the chains strapped around my arms and his lips curled up into a smile.
“I’d advice that you do not attempt to break free,” he said and signalled to the guard to drop the box on the table across the room.
“You’re only going to waste your energy and you’re gonna need it, trust me.” He sounded so soft, but had such a devilish grin.
“Leave us,” he told the guard and the guard nodded before walking out of the room.
The man watched the door close before facing me.
“Let’s start, shall we?” He said with a devilish grin.
I really wished I could knock it off and ruin his face with a punch.
“Get me out of here you bastards!” I yelled, struggling to break free even as the silver chains bit into my wrist.
He moved backward a little as I threw my head forward and I spat in his face.
He looked disgusted as he took an handkerchief out of his pocket and wiped the saliva off his face.
He dropped the handkerchief in his pocket and gave me a threatening look.
“You don’t scare me, but I on the other hand can very much rip your head off the moment I’m free,” I stared at him with the most threatening glare I could give, but he didn’t bat an eye or look intimidated.
Instead, his gaze remained locked in mine and the left side of his lips curled up into a wicked smile.
“So I heard that you have in your possession a criminal and prisoner of Nexus Services,” He said in the same soft voice.
“I don’t know what you’re saying,” I denied it and he smiled it nodding.
“I knew you would deny it and be stubborn,” he said, “actually, I want you to be stubborn.” He said and glanced at the box placed on the table.
I looked at it too and wondered what was in the bag.
“I know you are hiding Miss. Valerie Hudgens so just tell us where she is so you can return to the peaceful life you lived before all of this,” he said and moved closer to me.
“Peaceful life you say Hungh?” I scoffed and stared at his brown eyes.
“Tell that to all the devious plans you have in store for the supernatural race,” I added angrily.
“Well, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said, denying the fact even though it was obvious in his eyes that he knew the truth.
“So tell me, where is Valerie Hudgens?” He asked and I remained silent, refusing to say anything.
I was already getting tired and I was so hungry. I needed to reserve my strength and this man was just tiring.
I closed my eyes, deciding to ignore him completely.
“I said where is Valerie Hudgens?” He asked again with his voice slightly higher this time.
“Oh, so you do have a voice?” I opened my eyes and teased. He looked angry, but he also looked amused.
Like it was all a game to him.
He walked to the table and glanced at me with a wicked smirk before opening the box.
I felt my heart skip as I saw what was in the box.
It was filled with silver daggers and torturing weapons.
He grabbed a dagger with a curved sharp point and the light that filtered into the cell caused the silver blade to glimmer.
“Fine let’s have it your way,” he said and walked towards me. I winced in pain as she touched my bare chest with the tip of the dagger.
I shouted and groaned in pain as he slowly tore through my chest with the dagger.
“All you need to do is talk and you don’t have to go through this,” He said, but I refused to talk.
No matter what they did, I would never reveal Valerie’s location or put the life of the members of that pack in danger.
