Xavier.

　　I pulled the gear and slowed down as we approached the forest that led to the rebel camp..

　　I squinted my eyes to make sure I was seeing clearly as I saw several of the rebels gathered at the forest’s entrance.

　　What happened? Why did they all leave their camp.

　　I and Nathan faced each other before I faced the road again. I slowly brought the car to a halt and I saw that every one of them including their leader were gathered at there and they all seemed to be worried about something. I turned off the engine and opened the door, climbing down and dropping the car keys into my pocket.

　　I spotted Dave and I walked towards him inquisitively. I glanced at the floor some metres away and gasped at the sight of the dead bodies lined up on the floor.

　　“What happened here?” I asked.

　　“We were attacked,” Dave replied and I sighed immediately realizing what it had to have been.

　　“Two Rippers suddenly attacked as soon as I dropped the call with you,” he added, confirming what I had suspected, “they killed five men and three women.”

　　What was really happening? Were this Rippers now targeting Supernaturals. I immediately felt afraid as I remembered Valerie and the others, but I pushed the thought aside.

　　They were on an island.

　　“One of them attacked us too on the way here,” I said, resting my palms on my waist, “they can be killed by stabbing them between the spine,” I added and Dave nodded.

　　“We figured.”

　　“I’ll take care of things here, you need to go to that facility quickly and find out what is going on,” Rudolph said, walking towards us.

　　I nodded and I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I reached into my pocket and took out my phone, looking at the screen.

　　It was a video from Lycian. What could it be?

　　I unlocked the phone and clicked on the video.

　　The video was taken from inside a car and the man was taking a video of what was happening outside the car on the streets.

　　Unknown man;…..I don’t know …. They’re appearing out of nowhere and they have these crazy look on their faces.

　　They have this cool claws and they’re randomly attacking people.

　　I watched the video and looked at the Rippers attacking people on the road. Some of them defended themselves with their supernatural abilities, but most of them stood helplessly as they were killed. Oh no! They were attacking humans too.

　　I glanced at those watching the video with me and they also looked shocked.

　　Unknown man; the roads are blocked and people are getting killed randomly. It’s so terrifying and exciting at the same time.

　　Suddenly, a ripper leaped into the air and jumped the man’s car, snarling loudly. The man and one other person screamed loudly and the video ended.

　　I faced the others and they all looked alarmed.

　　“We have to leave right now,” I said and walked back to the car. I opened the car and climbed into it. Nathan climbed in too and sat beside me while Dave and a Vampire sat at the back.

　　I started the car and changed the gear as I drove onto the road.

　　I slowed down up as we approached the laboratory. The gates were wide open and I could see some bodies lying dead on the ground. I glanced at the others before slowly driving into the compound with precautions.

　　I brought the car to a halt and I remained in the car for a while looking around. I finally opened the door and climbed out of the car.

　　I slammed the door shut and looked at all the guards scattered around on the floor in the compound.

　　They either had slit throats, stabs in the chest or ripped off heads.

　　The others stepped out of the car and I hesitantly walked towards the building. It didn’t seem like there was anybody alive there. They had probably all be killed by the Rippers.

　　I suddenly looked at the left as I heard a snarl and I saw a Ripper jump at me.

　　I quickly zoomed out of the way and the Ripper landed on the floor with his hands and legs.

　　He snarled and looked at all of us one after the other.

　　It charged at me again and my claws extended from my fingers, slashing at it. My claws managed to slash it, but it ignored it like it was nothing and planted a kick in my chest.

　　I groaned as I flew away and crashed into the floor. I looked at Elijah charge at it with a silver sword he pulled out of his combat belt and the Ripper immediately zoomed out the way, appearing at the Vampire’s back.

　　Before the Vampire could turn around, it kicked him in the back and he also flew away, crashing to the ground next to me and the sword clattering to the ground.

　　These things were so strong.

　　It snarled and faced Dave and Nathan with it’s long metallic claws extended.

　　Nathan and Dave snarled back at him and they charged at it together. I watched the Ripper become a blur and by the time everything cleared, he was pinning the both of them the ground with his both hands on their necks.

　　I looked at the sword lying on the floor and quickly went to grab before zooming forward and stabbing the Ripper at the back, between his spines.

　　He shrieked in pain as the sword went to it and Dave and Nathan rolled out of the way as it fell face flat to the ground.

　　They all stood up from the floor and I continued walking towards the building. The doors were wide open and every other door in the building was either broken or open.

　　As we passed by the rooms, there was one or more persons lying lifelessly on the ground. The Rippers must have gone out of control.

　　I stopped walking as I looked into an office with the door wide open. I noticed a familiar briefcase on the floor and I walked into the office.

　　I gasped as I saw Griffin lying on the floor with a slit throat. He got what he deserved, the cold side of me thought.

　　I saw someone else lying on the ground and it was a doctor judging by the lab coat he was wearing.

　　There was no sign of attack on his body except for the club lying on the ground next to him.

　　I bent down and leaned towards him to see if he was still breathing. He was still alive.

　　Griffin must have forced him to do this as I knew what kind of man Griffin is. The Rippers must have left him for dead.

　　I looked up at the rest of them nodding rjsy he was still alive.

　　“He might be able to fix all of this.”
