Chapter 101

  Garr.

I waited by the door as Albert went to grab something that belonged to Lycian.

I tapped my foot on the floor inpatiently. We had to get to them fast before whoever took them does something bad.

They would most likely try to take the information they needed from their mind. I don’t know if Jordan knows the location of that pack, but if he knew it and he struggled to hide it from them, they would keep digging deeper into his memories and it could affect his mind.

I looked up as Albert approached and he was holding a wristwatch.

“This is Mr. Hale’s favorite wristwatch. It should do,” Albert said and handed me the wristwatch.

“Good,” I said and collected the wristwatch from him. I opened the door to my room and walked inside, Albert following behind.

I dropped the wristwatch on the bed and sighed, stretching out my hands.

My fingers began to glow and soon there was a sheet of paper floating in the air.

“Auroritum Dericindia,” I chanted and dropped my hand as the the sheet of paper began to glow. The light soon dimmed and I grabbed the sheet of paper before it could fall to the floor.

There was now a map of the city drawn onto the sheet of paper and I dropped it on the bed.

  One more thing.

“Can you get me some sand?” I asked, facing Albert and he nodded before walking out of the

I sat on the bed, waiting for him to come back with the sand, but he returned almost immediately and walked in with sand in his palm.

I stood up and spread out the map on the bed.

I placed the wristwatch next to it and faced him.

“Pour the sand here,” I said, pointing at the left edge of the map. He came forward and slowly poured the sand on the map.

He moved away and I raised my palms over the map, my fingers glowing.

“Neridium Enslocasion, Neridium Enslocasion,” I chanted and slowly, the sand began to travel over the map.

I continued chanting for a while until the sand finally stopped moving. I looked at the spot on the map where the sand stopped and I looked at Albert.

I picked up the wristwatch and snapped my fingers, causing the map and sands to disappear.

“Get a few men that’ll come with me,” I said and he took the wristwatch with me.

“I’ll open a portal to where they are.”

  Jordan.

I grunted in pain as I slowly stood up on my feet. I hated that I felt so weak and was being beaten by my own self.

This is all in my mind? What’s happening to me?

“You’re right. I’m responsible for it all,” I said and I looked at my hand as a large sickle appeared in it.

Before he could react, I moved at full speed and swung the silver metal at him, striking him in the heart.

He gasped and groaned in pain as I drove the sickle into his heart and his heart bled as he fell on his knees.

I let go of the sickle and watched as he slowly got weaker and weaker. I thought he’d die, but the sickle in his heart suddenly disappeared.

I looked around as the green plants and flowers around slowly got drained of their color and turned into grey ashes.

I looked back at my dark replica and he had already stood up on his feet, looking like nothing had happened to him.

“I am the Reaper and I’m also in control,” he said as a sickle with a blood red handle appeared in his hand.

I slowly moved backward and raised up my hand as the swung the sickle at him with a loud cry.

I braced myself for the impact of the sickle when suddenly, the sky turned dark and I felt a hand grab me from behind and pull me into the darkness.

“Jordan, Jordan.” I heard someone call my name and I slowly opened my eyes. I felt Lycian tap me and I faced him.

“Jordan, what happened?” Lycian asked in concern and I stared at him, not knowing what to say.

I couldn’t explain what just happened and it felt like everything was really happening.

“I….I think I had an hallucination,” I said and Lycian looked worried.

“When last did you feed?” He asked.

“It’s been long, but…..but that’s not it,” I said, shaking my aching head.

“It all felt so real. This was not an hallucination. It felt like it really happened,” I said, but Lycian didn’t look like he understood me at all.

He probably thought I was hallucinating too.

But I can’t be hallucinating so soon. The blood lust is supposed to come first. What’s really happening to me?

Lycian was about to talk when the door of the room opened. The two Wizards stepped in and I sighed, resting my head on the wall as I watched the younger one close the door. The younger one was carrying a flower plant in his hand and he dropped the bucket carefully on the floor.

“Are you two ready to talk?” The elder Wizard asked. They really weren’t going to give up until they knew where Valerie is.

“You’re wasting your time, we told you already that we don’t know where she is!” I retorted, but he remained unconvinced.

“I know you have a Wizard on your side and he probably secured the memory in your head,” The Elder wizard continued and he walked towards the flower plant on the floor.

“We were able to find out that’s she’s your sister from your memories, so you know where she went to,” he continued and stretched out his hands towards the bucket on the floor.

The plant began to come to life and thin branches began to grow out of it. The branches became longer and longer and they crawled on the floor, going up the walls until there were branches all over the walls and floor.

I watched as flowers slowly blossomed on the branches and there were soon dots of red roses filling the room..

Under different circumstances, this was a beautiful sight to behold, but he was going to feed from nature to do whatever he wanted to do.

He smiled in satisfaction as he watched everything then he faced me and walked towards me.

He placed the index and middle finger of his both hands at the sides of my head and they glowed.

“How about we dig it out of your head,” he said softly and I screamed in pain.
