Jordan.
I watched as flowers slowly blossomed on the branches and there were soon dots of red roses filling the room..
Under different circumstances, this was a beautiful sight to behold, but he was going to feed from nature to do whatever he wanted to do.
He smiled in satisfaction as he watched everything then he faced me and walked towards me.
He placed the index and middle finger of his both hands at the sides of my head and they glowed.
“How about we dig it out of your head,” he said softly and I screamed in pain. It felt like millions of Needles were piercing my mind and trying to dig their way into the core of my mind.
I’ve never felt so much pain in my mind as I closed, my eyes, screaming loudly.
“Stop. Please stop,” I heard Lycian plead with them, but the pain continued as the Elder Wizard tried to dig for memories that weren’t there.
“It’s very easy, tell us where we can find the Hybrid.” His voice was thick and rough. With the pain getting stronger and stronger, I began to see short flashes of my dark replica I had seen earlier grinning at me.
With my eyes closed, I could see his face clearly; his dark red lips, the dark areas around his eyes and his thick long hair.
“You’re so weak.” He said disdainfully and I screamed louder as the pain intensified.
“Wait. Alright. I’ll talk,” Lycian said and immediately, I felt the pain disappear immediately and I gasped.
I opened my eyes and I saw that the once green plant branches and red flowers in the room were already loosing their color and turning grey.
He was feeding from natural energy so he could be strong enough to do whatever digging he just did.
“I’ll tell you what you want to know,” Lycian added and I faced him.
“Lycian, no, don’t-“ I suddenly felt my voice disappear as the younger Wizard snapped his finger.
“Good. Now tell us where the Hybrid is,” the Elder Wizard asked with a soft voice. I faced Lycian and tried to talk, but I couldn’t. I shook my head and my hand so he wouldn’t talk.
If they knew where Valerie went, she and her baby’s life are going to be in danger all over again.
“Yes,” Lycian replied and I sighed in frustration, leaning on the wall. I regretted that immediately as pain ripped through my heard and I saw my dark replica’s smirking face flash for a split second.
“Bt I need you to do one thing for me,” Lycian added a condition and the Elder Wizard scoffed.
“I think you’re forgetting that you’re in no position to negotiate here,” The Elder Wizard retorted and he was already sounding impatient.
“Yes, but I’m the only one that knows where she is and no matter how much you dig, you can’t go past the fore walls of my mind,” Lycian stated daringly.
“You’re a Lycan. You’re Psychic,” The Elder Wizard said in realization.
“Well, there are things that can be done about that,” He added boastfully.
“You’re going to waste a lot of time either way and someone else might find her before you do a
Nd take all the glory,” Lycian stated and I looked at the confident look on the Elder Wizard’s face wear away.
I knew it. The premonition about Valerie’s baby was a big deal and the family or Clan of whoever successfully kills the baby would get a lot of recognition and glory.
“I just need something simple from you, so why don’t we skip all that stress,” Lycian continued and the Elder remained silent for a while, looking hesitant and confused.
“What do you want?” The Elder Wizard asked and I also faced Lycian since I had no idea what he wanted to bargain for.
“My friend here has been very thirsty, so can you be nice and get him a bottle of blood or two?” Lycian asked with a smile.
Fair Enough.
I faced Lycian and he smiled, holding my hand.
The Elder Wizard faced with reluctance in his countenance. He finally nodded I agreement and faced the Younger Wizard.
“Nate, portal to one of the human clinics and get him a bottle of blood,” He instructed and Nate nodded.
He stretched out his hands and wind gathered in the air before gaining a green color and whirling around to form a portal.
As soon as the portal fully formed, he stepped into the portal and it closed.
The Elder Wizard glanced at the both of us before stepping back a bit. He snapped his fingers, conjuring himself a chair and he sat on it.
Mages really thought they were gods when they had nature around them. I went to Maldoria once and it looked like something out of those Barbie animations and cartoons.
He faced the two of us again and I glared at him.
“What?”
“Nothing,” He said and looked away, but he lookes like he knew something and was hiding it.
“If you have something to say, why don’t you say it,” I said, relentlessly. He faced us again and pressed his lips into a tight line.
“I’m not going to give you any ideas, but it’s never going to end well for the both of you,” he blurted it all out in one breath.
What? I and Lycian faced each other briefly before looking back at him. What was he saying?
Did he just make a fucking prophecy of me and Lycian’s relationship?
I was about to ask another question when a portal opened in the room again. Nate stepped out of it and he was struggling to carry several blod bags in his hands.
They were more than a dozen.
The Elder Wizard turned around to face him and his eyes widened in surprise.
“What the heck Nate??” He shouted, stunning Nate and causing him to drop all the blood bag to the floor.
The portal closed and The Elder Wizard stood up to meet him.
Ha! So far, this Nate has proven to be really dumb.
“I asked you to get one bottle of blood, not raid an entire clinic!”
Nate stood there, looking apologetical and the Elder Wizard sighed.
He grabbed one blood bag on the floor and walked towards me. He gave it to me and I grabbed it, looking at it.
My throat suddenly began to itch and I was filled with blood lust.
I looked at the blood bag sceptically and the Elder Wizard asked, “What?”
“The Humans have been poisoning their blood banks with silver so I’m scared,” I said, but he waved it away by rolling his eyes.
Poisoning. I smiled within me as I suddenly got an idea.
