Jordan
The Elder Wizard grabbed one blood bag on the floor and walked towards me. He gave it to me and I grabbed it, looking at it.
My throat suddenly began to itch and I was filled with blood lust.
I looked at the blood bag sceptically and the Elder Wizard asked, “What?”
“The Humans have been poisoning their blood banks with silver so I’m scared,” I said, but he waved it away by rolling his eyes.
Poisoning. I smiled within me as I suddenly got an idea.
I held the blood bag to my lips and pressed it as I gulped it down. Just as I drank it halfway, I summoned all of the discipline in me as I was still very thirsty and I flung the blood bag away. I began to cough violently, hitting my chest with my palm.
“Jordan, Jordan what’s it?” Lycian asked worriedly and I continued to cough, blood spurting out of my mouth.
“Si……..Si..lver Po…. Poisoning,” I babbled, coughing in between my words.
“You need to do something,” Lycian said to the Wizards sounding alarmed.
“Nate, why didn’t you inspect the blood bags!” The Elder Wizard yelled at Nate and faced me again.
“I need to get the silver out if his blood,” The Elder Wizard said and bent down in front of me.
I continued coughing hoping that he’ll first remove the silver chains binding me.
Just as I expected, he grabbed the silver chains and they glowed before disappearing. I continued coughing and he helped me up to my feet.
Suddenly, I jabbed him in the abdomen with my elbow and I held my claws to his neck.
“If I hear anything like a chant or see any glow, I’ll slice his neck,” I said, facing Nate as he stretched out his hands. He dropped his hand slowly and I used my other hand to restrict both of the Elder Wizard’s hand so he wouldn’t be able to cast any spell.
“Now, walk here slowly and untie my friend,” I said and he nodded, slowly walking in my direction.
I moved out of the way and watched him bend down before Lycian.
“There are no keys so I have to make them disappear,” he said, facing me.
“Okay, grab those chains and make them disappear. Don’t you try anything funny,” I threatened, holding my claws closer to the Elder Wizard’s neck.
Nate nodded and he grabbed the chains binding Lycian. The chains glowed before disappearing and Lycian stood up on his feet.
“Let’s go,” I said and walked backward towards the door slowly with my claws still at the Elder Wizard’s neck.
As we got to the door, I stopped and faced Lycian.
“Can you grab two of those blood bags please?” I asked and he nodded, picking up two blood bags. He opened the door and I nodded at him.
I suddenly let go of the Elder Wizard and the two of us zoomed out of the room. We kept running through the unknown building we were in until we finally got to the exit door.
I opened the door and we were about to go out when the door suddenly slammed shut again.
I turned around to see the Elder Wizard and Nate behind us with the Elder Wizard’s hand glowing.
Fuck! That was fast.
I glanced at Lycian and looked back at them.
I saw their mouths about to move when suddenly, the image of my dark replica flashed in my mind. I felt my body suddenly move and before I knew, I zoomed forward and sank my fangs into the neck, my hand stretching out, grabbing Nate’s neck, and pinning him to the wall.
“Jordan-“ I heard Lycian’s voice with my fangs buried in the Elder Wizard’s neck and I immediately snapped out of it.
I raised up my head and let go of Nate. I felt my darkened eyes return to normal and wiped the blood off my lips
What did I just do?
The Elder Wizard groaned and placed his hand on his neck.
I walked over to Lycian hurriedly and grabbed the door knob.
“Let’s go.”
“Don’t you dare!” The Elder Wizard bellowed and I felt the doorknob become hot and I winced in pain, taking my hands off it.
I turned around to face them and the Elder Wizard’s eyes were shining brightly with tree branches crawling up the walls and making their way towards us.
He stretched out his hands towards us and I looked at his fingers glow up.
Before he could cast whatever spell he wanted to, the wall at the side began to glow and there was a purple whirling in it.
It turned into a portal and I watched as Garr and two men stepped out of it.
Before The Elder Wizard and Nate could do anything, Garr’s hand glowed and an invisible force threw them backward.
The Elder Wizard got on his feet and I watched the branches change direction and crawl to the floor before climbing onto him.
They surrounded his body and wrapped around his arms and soon his eyes were a matching green color.
“Eracitum.” He chanted and a massive wave of green energy flowed towards us.
Garr immediately got in the way and he quickly stretched out his glowing hands.
“Nivellum.” He also chanted and the moving wave stopped all of a sudden. The wave dispersed in the air and I watched as all the branches on the wall and the ones Elder Wizard’s body turn grey and disappear into thin air.
Almost immediately, Garr chanted again and I saw a transparent grey wall stand between us and the Wizards. The Elder Wizard and Nate fired blasts at the wall and Garr faced us quickly.
“That wall won’t hold long. Let’s go.” He said and I felt Lycian grab my hands before the both of us. I faced him and smiled before we both walked forward and stepped into the portal.
