Chapter 129

  Jordan.

I sighed as the wizard standing in front of me finally dropped his witchy woo hands and walked away. I looked into the mirror to check out myself.

This whole time, we were all in the same room and while Darell was making the necessary plan, a wizard was making necessary adjustments to my look.

I stood up and sighed before looking at the clock on the wall.

I had only ten minutes. I faced Darrell, staring at him inquringly only to know if there was anything else.

He nodded in affirmation and took out a device from his pocket. He switched on the portal device and blue waves of light flowed into the air whirling around in circles to form a portal. I face Lycian and he patted me on the shoulder, smiling and nodding for me to leave.

“Take care,” he said and I nodded before following two Sanctum officials into the portal.

I watched as Nicole took steps backward. She walked to the wall and brought down a painting on the wall. There was a lock hidden behind the painting.

She typed in a password and the lock twisted before the wall divided into a small compartment.

It wasn’t just any compartment. It was filled with weapons. Silver weapons that could cause a Vampire or Werewolf all sorts of horrors. How was all this weapon here and why does she even know where they are or how to open it?

Even though I would step out of that portal, this was also almost real and it would hurt. It would hurt so badly.

She took out a large scary weapon before closing the vault up. I looked at the weapon and swallowed. I didn’t even know what to call it. All I know is that it can inflict all sorts of pain on me.

No, I can’t let her do this, I thought to myself as she slowly walked towards me.

“You meddled in something bigger than you and you caused me a lot of trouble. You’re gonna have to pay for it,” She said and my eyes kept glancing between her moving lips and the silver weapon in her hand.

I have to get out of this thing binding me. I shook my hand, trying to unhinge them from whatever they were attached behind me, but all that caused was pain and the cold silver metal biting my skin.

I stopped moving my hands again and sighed.

These chains do not exist, I am free, I thought to myself. I waited for a while and nothing happened, but suddenly, the sharp pain on my wrists was no longer there and I could actually move my wrist.

She kept walking closer to me and I kept my hands behind me so she wouldn’t know I was already free.

“You can’t kill me. You wouldn’t dare because this is my mental world and if I die here, it collapses with everything here,” I said and smirked, “Including you.” I said in a soft voice.

“Well, who said anything about killing you?” She asked with a sneer and tightened her grip on the weapon.

I looked at her feet as she came closer and closer towards me.

As soon as she was close enough, I suddenly stood up on my feet and zoomed at her. I tried hitting her, but in a blink, she was out of the way.

I turned around quickly to see her standing behind me with a wide grin on her face.

“Nice try,” she smiled and I muttered a curse beneath my breath..

She suddenly swung the weapon at me, but I moved out of the way just in time. She didn’t give up, but she kept swinging it at me from different angles and ar super speed.

I kept zooming and moving at full speed to avoid getting hit. If this continued, she would eventually be successful in hitting me..

I suddenly zoomed far away from her. I need to get out of this place.

I zoomed up the stairs so I could get out of this place, but the door that led to the main house was closed and was forced shut with two heavy silver bars.

Damn it. I can’t fight her. Not without a weapon of mine.

I couldn’t leave so I zoomed back down and she was waiting there in the basement with a cocky smile.

I sighed and tried to summon a weapon in my hand like other times when I would fight my dark replica, but it wasn’t working. I couldn’t summon a damn weapon when I needed it.

What the heck was happening? It felt like I was loosing control of this place.

“What? Are you scared?” Nicole asked in an icy tone, “don’t worry, I’m just going to drain you of blood and make sure you’re in a miserable state,” she said and walked closer towards me..

It wasn’t a fair fight if she had weapons and I don’t.

“This isn’t a fair fight, maybe we should even it out,” I said and looked at the weapon she was holding, but she scoffed.

“You do not have a weapon with you,” I said, fixating my gaze on the silver blades of the weapon.

I watched as the weapon in her hand faded in and out. It was like it was attempting to fade out of reality, but it couldn’t.

The fading finally stopped and the weapon was still there all shiny and physical in her hand.

“Or maybe you just have no control over how this place goes again,” she smirked and swung the weapon at me.

I tried to duck, but still, one of the silver blades of the weapon slashed my face and I shrieked in pain.

“Yeah. It enhanced silver and it’s probably three times more painful than it should be,” She said as I winced in pain.

I was angry and I felt my vision go red. I saw the blades of the weapon swing at me again and I snarled, zooming out of the way and hitting Nicole from behind.

She grunted and nearly fell forward to the front, but she regained her balance with the weapon in her hand flinging out of her hand and clattering to the floor.

At the same time, we glanced at each other and then we faced the the weapon on the ground.

I can’t let her get her hands on that thing again.

Instantly, the two of us dashed forward to pick the weapon. Just as my hand was about to grab it, she knocked me aside forcefully and grabbed the weapon, grunting and moving backward.

I regained balance and moved back away from her.

“Hmn.” She scoffed and grinned, holding the weapon triumphantly.

Suddenly, Nicole groaned in pain and the weapon she was holding fell to the ground. I looked at the silver edge of a sickle in her bleeding chest and she groaned again as it was pulled out of her before she fell to the floor.

I looked up to see my dark replica standing there with a large sickle stained with blood in his hand.

He glanced at Nicole’s lifeless body on the floor and back at me again..

“Hmn. I was only gone for a day and everything had turned upside down.”
