Chapter 147

  Jordan

I felt their connection break that instant as he fell lifelessly to the floor and I absorbed the remaining bit of energy that was forming the boundary.

I looked sideways to see that Elijah was still on the floor with that stake injury in his stomach that kept bleeding. That couldn’t kill him, it was painful and thanks to me, it can’t heal itself.

“Let me just end your misery.” I smirked and walked closer to him. I saw Kyle stand up from the corner of my eyes and he zoomed at me. I suddenly grabbed him by the neck and tossed him away before bending down to meet Elijah. I smirked and he gritted his teeth in defiance before I dug my hand into his chest and pulled out his heart.

“Elijah!!” Nicole screamed and I tosses the heart at her, reveling in how devastated she was.

I looked forward as I saw the other two Wizards hold each other’s hands again.

Before they could start another damn spell, I zoomed towards them and knocked the both of them to the floor.

I tried to attack one of them, but he stretched out his hands towards me.

“Inflamatus!” He chanted and immediately, my arms were set on fire.

I winced in pain as the fire burnt my skin and I quickly siphoned the energy out of it. Just as I recovered from that I faced the Wizard again with a threatening glare.

“Invisique.” He chanted and he immediately vanished out of sight. I wanted to search for him by tracking the magical surge, but I heard the other Wizard stand up and I turned around to see him facing me.

His hands glowed and as the light dimmed, a carved wooden object appeared on his palm.

  A dark object.

He held it towards me and the object began to shine in a bright purple light.

“Languinum Perpetua Inciratus. Languinum Perpetua Inciratus!” He began to chant and I screamed as I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

I fell on my knees and I opened my shirt to see the mark of a pentagram slowly forming on my chest as he chanted. I didn’t want to know what that mark would do to me.

Before the mark could could fully form, I slowly crawled forward and I used all the strength in me to hit the Wizard. The dark object was knocked out of his hand and hit the barrier spell separating us and the Sanctum officials before falling to the ground.

About that, where is Lycian? I looked around unable to find him. I suddenly felt someone grab my arm and the Wizard that went invisible was standing beside me.

He was holding my hand and he placed it on the hand of Lycian who also appeared before me.

“Siphonora Jedithari Numino. Siphonora Jedithari Numino,” He chanted and as I found out I couldn’t take my hand of Lycian.

Lycian began to groan and I looked at where our hands met to see a faint red glow.

Oh no! I was siphoning his energy. I should be able to stop, but I couldn’t because of the spell the Wizard was casting.

“Lycian-“ I muttered in fear as Lycian continued groaning in pain, every bit of energy in him being forcefully absorbed by my body.

I tried to stop myself, but I couldn’t. I watched in horror as Lycan’s hands began to turn grey.

“No. No. No. No!” I panicked as the grey traveled up his arms to others parts of the body. I could feel the energy coming from him getting smaller and smaller and I could not stop.

“Please, don’t do this,” I pleaded with the Wizard, but he ignored me and he continued chanting.

I watched as Lycian faced began to turn grey and I could no longer feel any energy coming from him.

No!! I cried. The Wizard finally let go and I watched as Lycian slumped lifelessly to the floor.

I quickly bent down to reach him and I cried as I couldn’t hear his heartbeat or feel the life in him.

Nooooooo! I should have never let him get caught up in all of this.

I felt my vision turn red as I got filled with rage. I closed my eyes, forcing back my tears and I stood up on my feet.

“You’re gonna pay for this!” I yelled and stretched out my both hands. The Wizards began to groan in pain and I could feel myself absorbing their magical energy without even touching them.

Still, the energy kept flowing in and it felt like I couldn’t reach the end of their Magical energy.

Of course, the reason the Speranzini’s have them ar their Beck and call.

I looked at the both of them and spotted identical bracelets on the wrists of the two of them.

There were using the bracelet to tap into and channel some ancestral magic.

I kept absorbing their energy still to destabilise them and I quickly zoomed forward. I grabbed one by the neck and lifted him up into the air before grabbing his head and with a groan, I tore his head off his neck, allowing it roll to the floor.

I felt someone try to sneak up behind me and I immediately turned around, digging my hand into the person’s chest.

It was Kyle. He groaned as my hand entered his chest and wrapped around his warm beating heart.

“No. Don’t!” Nicole screamed and I looked at her with a fierce glare before facing Kyle again whose lips quivered as he tried to plead.

“Go rott in hell.” I seethed and immediately tore his heart out of his chest.

“Nooooooo!” Nicole screamed and I looked a the pumping heart in my hand before dropping it to the ground and letting go of Kyle’s body.

This isn’t the end. I’m going to kill every single one of them in the most gruesome way possible. I would make them pay for what they did to Lycian.
