Garr.
I grabbed Valerie's hands and began to chant.
"Jeruso Halestro Diromio. Jeruso Halestro Diromio." Suddenly, a clone of Valerie appeared next to her with eyes closed. It was falling to the floor and I quickly let go of Valerie and grabbed the lifeless clone before it could fall to the floor.
Valerie also closed her eyes as she went unconscious and Xavier caught her in his hand.
"Place her in the coffin," I said and Xavier slowly placed Valerie in the coffin, making her lie on her back.
I stretched his glowing hands at the coffin and I began to chant again. I watched as the coffin glowed and the lid slowly dropped, shutting the coffin.
With Valerie's clone in my hand, I faced them.
"I'll show her to them now," I said and walked out of the room.
I slowly walked towards the entrance of the pack's mansion, my hand glowing as I prepared the body of the clone.
I watched as the body slowly turned grey and I sighed before walking out of the door.
Roderigo was right. There was a Mega portal opened up in the sky and an entire clan of Mages were waiting there.
I sighed and raised up the body of the clone for all of them to see.
"I did the will of the ancestors. I killed the Tribrid baby and his mother."
I blinked as I stepped out of the portal back into the Academy's main building. Katherine had already stepped out and I felt the portal close behind me.
I walked towards an elevator and opened it, walking in. Katherine walked in too, and I entered the destination for the floor where our offices are.
"What kind of spell do you think was used on the bell?" Katherine asked and I faced her. I was also confused about this. My ears were still ringing from the effect of the bell and my blood was still boiling. It was a really powerful spell used on that bell and it had a unique magic signature.
"I don't know exactly, but it's neither natural magic not dark magic, the magical aura was unique," I said and she nodded.
"But whoever cast the spell must have been powerful to have avoided being detected by everyone there," I added, afraid of who it might be and what the person's motive for doing that was.
As I said, the person had to be powerful and unique as everyone at that Arena had magical abilities and there were several Elder amd Master Mages there, but still no one detected the person's presence, the magical fluctuation around the bell or the casting of the spell.
I winced loudly as I felt a sudden sharp pain in my wrist.
What the heck was that.
The pain came again and I grabbed my right wrist in pain. I couldn't describe how it felt, but it was extremely painful and unlike anything I've ever felt.
"Garr, what is it?" Katherine faced me, asking in concern. I grabbed the sleeve of the robe I was wearing and violently I pulled it up, gasping as I saw a sigil-like mark slowly forming on my wrist.
Holy shit!!
"Garr, you've been hexed," Katherine said and immediately, I felt pain rip through my body. I groaned as I lost balance and I fell to the floor of the elevator.
I felt like I was being choked and I couldn't get enough air. My blood was boiling and it felt like the walls of the elevator were closing in on me.
"Garr!" Katherine immediately bent down and she held my hand.
Her hand began to glow, "illecitum Nivera Kaleodo. Illecitum Nivera Kaleodo," She began to chant, but that only did so little to relieve the pain and claustrophobic feeling I had.
"The hex. It's powerful, we have to get help," Katherine said with her hands still on mine, relieving the pain to an extent.
The elevator finally stopped and the doors opened.
"Katherine," I heard a voice and we both looked out to see Michael looking at the both of us in surprise.
I realized that I and Katherine were in suspicious position and Katherine immediately moved away.
"Michael. No, it's not what-" Katherine tried to talk, but he didn't let her finish before walking off in anger.
As Katherine had taken her hand off me, I could feel the pain getting stronger and the hex trying to mess with my brain.
Katherine glanced at Michael who was walking off and back at me as I was groaning in pain.
"Katherine. Go," I croaked out and my other hand began to glow as I tried to ease the pain I was feeling.
"You have to go. I'll find help," I managed to add, gritting my teeth in pain.
Katherine nodded before running out of the elevator.
"Michael! Michael!"
I groaned as I managed to get on my feet. I have to my office. There has to be something there that can help me for the moment.
The hex was powerful, but I would be able to suppress the effects for the mean time and I would be able to find a permanent solution and find out who the heck hexed me.
I kept my left hand on my wrist and I walked out of the elevator. I slowly walked to my office, gritting my teeth in pain.
Just a little bit more, I told myself as I saw the door of my office up ahead.
I dragged myself down the hallway, hoping that I would come across a Proffessor or any teacher that could help me.
There was nobody. Probably because of the attack. I finally reached my office and I grabbed the doorknob, opening the door.
I walked into the office and closed the door, immediately walking to my shelf.
"Vustrus nsolww," I heard someone chant behind me and before I could turn around to check who it was, I suddenly felt dizzy and in my weak state, gave in to the darkness quickly.
