Maldoria.
Selena.
"Why the sudden curiosity about this issue? Is there anything I should know?" Garner asked and I simply shook my head.
"Research. That it's," I lied. The ancestors' instruction was to do this alone.
"Okay. The child and the mother were killed by the mother's uncle. He understood the importance of ending that baby despite the fact that they were his family," Garner said and I nodded.
Interesting. Killed by family.
"I heard he's a proffessor at the Sentient Academy in South Maldoria," Garner continued and I nodded.
The ancestors believed that the Tribrid was still alive and funny enough, the baby was said to have been killed by his own family.
I could smell the foul play here and I need to get to the root of this.
I stood up and smiled.
"Thank you, I'll leave now," I said and he nodded, smiling. I wrapped my scarf around my face again and walked out of his office.
I need to pay that proffessor a visit.
I held on to the scarf as I walked out of the shop into the street.
Sadly, I have to walk back to my house at the edge of the Clan's territory or at least go far away from people before I can open a portal.
I mostly avoid using magic outside, since it's one of the main triggers of my episodes. I strode steadily at the side of the street, avoiding eye contact with the people passing by.
The roads were less busy mainly because of the Laforza holiday so many people are at their homes with their families. Only personal stores were open, cause this was the best time for them to be open; when families are at home together and have never ending needs.
I moved out of the way as i heard giggling behind me and three kids chasing themselves ran past me.
I continued walking and watched as they ran off, not noticing the uncontrollable tears that trickled down my cheek.
Looking at them made me remember my children and I wished I could be with them.
That would all be solved if I complete the mission given to me by the ancestors.
I was lost in thought and I could not move away in time for two other kids running past me.
One of them hit me and nearly fell down, but he tried to grab onto me an he ended up grabbing my scarf.
He fell on his butt with hands clasped around my scarf and I gasp as I realize he had uncovered my face.
"Oh my god! It's her," I heard a woman gasp and point at me, drawing every one's attention to me. I froze in place, knowing how they would all react.
"It's her. Oh My!" Someone else exclaimed and I bent down to take my scarf from the boy, helping him up
to his feet.
"Get away from my son!" A man shouted and I turned to the left to see him looking at me in anger.
"Sorry," I stuttered and moved away from the son. I couldn't blame them. Their fear had an high possibility of being justified. How can I control myself around strangers when I couldn't control myself around my Bethrothed.
"Why did she come here?" A woman asked and everyone was talking at the same time, so I couldn't hear them.
"Who let her out of her prison?" Someone else asked and that statement hurt me.
Prison?? It's not a prison. It's a normal house. It's just far away from everyone Incase I have an episode.
"Yes, why did you come here?!" The man who had just taken his son away from me asked angrily.
"Go back to your prison!"
"It is not a prison!!" I yelled and suddenly stretched out my hands, a massive blast of energy shooting out of them and hitting the man.
Everyone gasped as the blast hit the man away and smashed him against the wall. I gasped, realizing what
I had done and I quickly ran away.
I stretched out my hands to create a portal and as soon as the portal fully formed, I jumped in.

I flinch as someone grabbed me from behind, but I sighed in relief and smiled as I saw that it was Jackson.
He wrapped his hand around my waist and smiled at me. I faced the cooker and flipped over the pan cake.
"I told you that I can do all of this," Jackson said and I shook my head.
"It's okay, you're making it sound like I'm close to delivery," I said and took the frying pan off the cooker. I pointed at a kettle at the corner of the slab and Jackson stretched out his hand, picking it and handing it to me.
"I know, it's just 2 months old, but for the next nine months, I don't want you to stress yourself at all," He said.
"Oh. And what happens when I give birth to them," I asked, as I opened water from the tap into the kettle.
"You know that I'll always treat you like a princess," He replied and I smiled. I'm glad that I'm one of the
Mages who has a Bethrothed and who is lucky to find them at such an early stage in life.
If Jackson had not come into my life, I woke still be that scared girl afraid of talking to people or going near them. I would still be the insecure girl thinking sbe doesn't deserve to be loved because of her mother's sin.
I looked at the ring on my finger and a smile form on my lips. In few weeks, I and Jackson would be married. He had proposed two weeks ago and just two days after that, I found out I had two month old twins growing in my stomach.
"What are we going to call them?" I asked and turned around to face him as I waited for the water in the kettle to come to a boil.
