Chapter 160

  Maldoria.

  Selena.

I stepped out of the portal into the living room of my house. I held on to a chair quickly, panting.

I can't believe that I just lashed out and attacked that man in front of everyone. I had felt so angry and didn't know when I reached.

Normally, that always came with me loosing control and my body causing havoc on it's own, but apart from the single attack, it felt like I had it under control.

Random image flashed in my head and I realized what was happening. The ancestors. They were the one helping to overcome the curse.

On that Laforza night, they must have created a link with me so they'll be able to connect with me even after that night.

According to their instructions, the baby was yet unborn and they had given me the instructions on how I could end the baby's life before he was born.

He'll be born as a Tribrid and it would be impossible to kill the baby once he's born, so I have to hurry up. I sighed as I recovered my breath and I took my hands off the couch I was leaning on.

I walked to my bedroom and looked around as I tried to think of things I might need. Right now, I couldn't think of anything I would need so I decided I would just conjure it up when I need anything since my magic is temporarily stable.

My hand subconsciously went to my neck and grabbed the pearl at the tip of the necklace I was wearing.

It was given to me by Jackson and it was a family heirloom for protection.

I gulped hard and blinked back the tears at the corners of my eyes.

I took my hands off it and took a last glance around the room before walking out. I wrapped my scarf around my face and breathed in deeply before stretching out my hands to create a portal.

The scarlet waves of my magic whirled around in the air as the portal slowly formed a portal. I sighed and closed my eyes before walking into it.

I looked at the ring on my finger and a smile form on my lips. In few weeks, I and Jackson would be married. He had proposed two weeks ago and just two days after that, I found out I had two month old twins growing in my stomach.

"What are we going to call them?" I asked and turned around to face him as I waited for the water in the kettle to come to a boil.

"Ummmm. Since we're expecting two little pumpkins, I think Aurora and Avery for girls," he said and I smiled.

Aurora was my third name and Avery is the name of Jackson's mother who doesn't seem to like me at all because of whatever curse I had.

"And for boys,............... Nikolai and Nathan," I said and he nodded. Nikolai was Jackson's middle name while Nathan was my maiden name.

The kettle began to hiss as the water was fully boiled and I switched off the cooker. I grabbed the kettle with a towel and I was about to pour the water into a mug when my hand began to tremble.

I quickly dropped the kettle and ended up knocking the mug over. Jackson immediately let go of me and he looked at my trembling hand in surprise.

"Lena, what's happening??" He asked and I stared at my hands knowing what's happening.

No. No. Not here, not now!!

From normal trembling, my hands began to glow in a bright scarlet color. I was having one of my episodes again!

"Jackson, you need to get far away from here now!!" I shouted and next, my eyes were a matching scarlet color. My body began glow and a strong wind began to gather, blowing violently and tearing through the building.

I screamed and groaned as I tried to summon all the control I had in me.

The old walls of the house began to shake and slowly the bricks crumbled.

"Jackson, you have to go!" I shouted and all of a sudden, fire and ice spells randomly fired out of my body in random direction.

Jackson suddenly bent down as a fire ball almost hit him in the face. He looked at the trembling and crumbling walls of the building and he looked up at the ceiling that looked like it would collapse on us at any

  moment.

"Jackson go!" I screamed, but Jackson shook his head, raising up his hand to protect his head from a piece of the ceiling that fell to the floor.

"No! I can't leave you here, you can't control your magic!" He said at the top of his voice as the wind was cresting a loud noise.

"Exactly, I can't control your magic. You need to run!!" I shouted.

"No. You'll die if the building collapses on you. You and our babies!" He shook his head.

"Jackson Go!" I shouted and as with my mouth opened, Magical energy blasts shot out of it in Jackson's direction.

Quickly, Jackson stretched out his hands and created a magical protection shield. The shield reduced the force and the energy of the blast, but the blast tore through it and pushed Jackson away.

Jackson groaned as he crashed to the floor and I closed my eyes in fear. Without that shield, the blast would have shot a hole right through his heart.

I looked up as I suddenly saw a huge chunk of the ceiling breaking loose. I wanted to use my magic to stop

  it, but I couldn't.

My magic was acting on its own now. I closed my eyes as it was about to fall on my head, but Jackson stretched out his hands and flung it away with an invisible force.

"Spartia Motus!" Jackson chanted loudly and an invisible force blasted all the walls and ceiling of the walls away.

Immediately, he stretched out his hands again and every fragment of the building was floating in the air. I could see the scarlet waves in the spell so I knew how he could do that.

Since my body was shedding magic, he was channeling it.

Immediately, the pieces all dropped to the floor and we were standing in an open piece of land.

"Go now!" I said since I was now safe and Jackson nodded, turning around to go.

That instant, I began to feel an energy build on me and I screamed as my body shook. Fire, ice and lightning spells fired out of my body in random directions and I could feel the magic in my veins threaten to burst out.

I watched Jackson who was some metres away as he stretched out his hands and kept on trying to create a portal.

The waves would whirl and then disappear and it kept on happening. My magic was disrupting the portal.

"Just run!" I shouted as I did everything I could to suppress the magic build up in my body.

Jackson dropped his hands and immediately began to run while I screamed in pain as I felt the energy choking on my neck.

I felt my heart began to trob and then I knew it would happen. Immediately, I felt the energy in me burst out in scarlet blasts that scattered across the vast land like a fire storm.
