Chapter 165

  Xavier.

"And as soon as we left the Headquarters we came here," Jordan finished his explanation and I stared at him not fully grasping everything he had just said. He said something about using the magic of others to his own advantage.

"So you're a Vampire who can use Magic. An Hybrid like Valerie?" I asked, but he shook his head.

"No. I'm something else. I can't use magic, my body absorbs magic and life, and I can't casts spells, but I can compress the energy and release it out in a blast again," Jordan explained and I nodded.

"He's a Reaper." I looked up to see Raphael walk into the training room.

"I know about every Variant that exists," he added and he handed me a bottle of water he was holding.

"They are usually ruthless and devoid of most emotions. They are the most powerful after Bleeders," Raphael explained.

"I think My mom locked away my Reaper side before our consciousness could become one so now, it's two different consciousness in my head," Jordan stated and I shrugged.

  How bad could that be.

Nathan' wedding was tomorrow and he had gone out to make preparations with the event planner and the venue they would be using.

I stood up to leave to my room when I suddenly felt the floor shake a little.

"What was that??" I asked, glancing at everyone.

I looked at the door of the training room as someone ran it.

"Alpha Xavier, I just felt a tremor coming from Valerie's room and there's a sound coming from inside," he said and I faced Jordan before suddenly rushing out of the room. The others ran behind me and I could feel the shaking get stronger and stronger as I got closer to Valerie's room.

I finally got to her room and I stopped before the door as I tried not to fall. I could truly hear a shaking sound coming from inside the room. I reached into my pocket and quickly took out the keys to the room, opening the door.

I walked into the room and looked at the coffin that was lying on the floor in the room. The coffin was shaking violently and causing a loud rattling sound , with a bright blue light shining out of the tiny spaces in it.

"What's happening?" Lycian asked and I slowly walked towards the coffin.

"I think it's time," I said and I stopped before the coffin. I placed my hand on the coffin and the rattling noise increased even more.

All of a sudden, the lid of the coffin burst open, hitting me in the face and throwing me off.

I groaned in pain and stood up to my feet, walking closer to the coffin to see Valerie lying in there with her protruded belly and her eyes closed.

Her body was glowing in a bright blue color and I watched as she suddenly opened her eyes.

  ***

I listened as I heard Valerie's loud groans coming from inside the dorm. I couldn't watch so I stepped out as Raphael and some maida helped in delivering the baby.

I paced up and down the corridor expecting to hear the cry of a baby.

After 8 months of waiting, I could finally see Valerie and we were welcoming the child into this world despite all the challenges we faced.

I finally heard the cry or a baby and I ran into the room. I smiled as I saw Raphael holding the baby in his hand and he smiled as he handed the baby to Valerie.

I slowly walked closer and smiled as I looked at the baby in Valerie's hand. He was smiling and his eyes were a bright green color.

How could anyone ever call him an abomination or say he would hurt anyone.

Valerie looked up at me with a smile and she handed me the baby. I carried the baby in my arms and smiled as I looked at him.

  "Draco."

  ***

I looked at Draco who was sleeping in his crib and I smiled. I was so happy that I could get to have a child of my own.

When Lena killed Valerie, I thought it would no longer be impossible, but it turned out that she had already been pregnant before then.

I looked at the door of the room as it opened and Valerie stepped in.

"I thought you're supposed to be resting now," I said and she shrugged.

"I'm a Vampire. With speed healing," she said and walked into the room, closing the door.

"Plus I've been away for 8 months. I'm not going to waste my time in bed now," she said and walked closer, looking at the baby in the crib.

"Jordan and Lycian went to get baby supplies, I was shocked to hear that you had 8 months and you couldn't buy any of those for preparation," She said, crossing he arms over her chest.

"I forgot," I smiled nervously, "but look, I got a crib for the baby," I stated and smiled.

"One that you got from Killian's wife," she shook her head and I shrugged.

"I haven't seen Jenna and Nathan anywhere, where are they?" I asked and I stood up straight, walking to the bed and sitting down.

"Jenna is with her mom and Nathan is preparing for the wedding tomorrow," I replied and Valerie looked shocked.

"Wedding?" She asked and I nodded in affirmation.

"Yes, in this eighth months, Nathan already proposed to Jenna and the wedding is taking place tomorrow," I stated and Valerie nodded. She didn't look happy.

"So, if I hadn't woken up today, I would have missed Jenna's wedding," She said and she hit her palm on the bed, standing up.

That was true. I watched as Valerie took one look at Draco before walking towards the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked and she looked over her shoulder.

"I need to give Jenna a call and I need to get a dress."
