Chapter 172

  Valerie.

I hurriedly walked out of the bathroom as I heard Draco drying. I wrapped my large towel around my body and walked over to his crib.

"Oh, don't cry Draco. Mummy's here," I pouted and reached into the crib.

He had been crying all day. Crying since yesterday. Mainly because he's hungry, I think.

I can't produce breatmilk because I died already when Lena snapped my neck.

If I hadn't been pregnant before my first death, I would have never been able to give birth to a child.

I can't feed him breast milk and strangely, he's been vomiting all the supernatural baby food being given to him.

What do Tribrid babies eat. Uuuurghh.

I bent down and picked him up from the crib, trying to pacify him and make him stop crying. I looked at the door of the room as it oopened and Xavier stepped in.

He sighs and walked closer, stretching out his hands.

"I'll carry him, get dressed," he said and I nodded, handing Draco over to him.

Today was Jenna's wedding and we'll all soon be going to the venue of the wedding.

I dried my body and my hair, applying a moisturizing cream I bought at the store yesterday. I walked to my closet next and picked out the dress I had gotten. It was a blue dress with half collars hugging my arms tightly.

The dress was tightly fitted and there was an embroidery design at the waist like a belt.

I picked up my earrings and put them on as I stood before the large mirror.

I combed through my long hair and packed it into a stylish bun, leaving some strands of it to fall out of the bun and dangle over my neck.

I looked at Xavier once again and he went to sit on the bed. I looked at the nylon bag he was carrying and stared at it inquisitively.

"What's that??" I asked and he dropped Draco carefully on the bed.

"I went out to purchase some dove blood to see if that would work," Xavier said and I sighed.

Vampire babies aren't always fed blood and when they finally start drinking blood, they start it with Dove or

Rabbit blood. This is always done to prevent giving them a dangerous appetite and thirst for blood.

"Okay, let's try that," I nodded and looked at myself in the mirror again. I picked up my makeup brush and began to apply makeup on my face while looking at Xavier through the mirror.

He took out a small pack out of the nylon and when he opened it, he took out a baby feeder containing the Dove's blood.

I watched as he opened the feeder and held it to Draco's mouth.

At first, Draco continued crying and refused to drink it, but he finally stopped and I watched as he slowly sipped the blood.

He continued sucking on the feeder until it became empty and Xavier looked up at me with a smile.

I sighed and smiled. Finally, if I knew that would work, I would have saved my stress of having to stay up all night to keep him from crying.

I turned to face the mirror when I suddenly heard a loud burp and splashing sound.

"Oh!" Xavier exclaimed and I turned around to see that Draco had done it again. He vomited all of the blood he just drank satisfactorily.

I looked at Xavier and realized that his clothes were all messed up.

"Thank Goodness I haven't gotten into my suit. Nathan would so kill me," he said and stood up from the bed.

"I'll mind link a maid to come clean this up," He said and walked into the bathroom.

I carried Draco in my hand as he had continued crying. We were all gathered outside and preparing to leave for the wedding, but Draco was still crying.

"Draco please, I really can't miss thus wedding and you can't cry this way at the wedding," I said and sighed in frustration.

"We can't take him to the wedding if he keeps doing this," Xavier said and I faced him.

"So what are we going to do??" I asked in confusion.

"Lily can take care of Draco until we arrive," Raphael said and I faced him. Lily was Raphael's wife.

"But isn't Lily going with us?" I asked and he shook his head.

"She's staying back. She needs to prepare the twins for their return to school," Raphael said and I nodded.

"Oh, but I really don't want to disturb her with his cries," I said.

"Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be happy to help." Raphael smiled.

"I'll take him to Lily," Jordan said and stretched out his hands. I handed Draco over to him and he zoomed away, zooming back in a few seconds.

"Okay, she said she'll try finding what it is that Draco can really eat," Jordan said and I nodded.

"Good, now let's go," Xavier said and walked towards a car. He opened the car and walked in. I climbed in next to him and closed the door. Jordan and Raphael climbed in at the back seat and Xavier started the car, driving into the forest path.

"I haven't seen Lycian since you guys left for the bachelors party last night," I said and faced Jordan.

"Yes. He and Roderigo stayed with Nathan."
